This boat cleat system works great on my small plastic Jon boat. I wish it had hardware included but I eventually sourced proper screws. I'm sure it would work well if you need to tie up a canoe or kayak also.

A cleat that folds down, rather than always sticking up as a hook or catch hazard... Great! Why hasn't anyone thought of this before!? A couple of concerns... First, it doesn't seem to be quite as strong as a regular molded cleat (pins that hold the cleat are fairly small). I haven't broken it yet, but I would recommend it not be used where there will be a lot of weight or stress on it. Second, no screws included for attachment.
