Turning on the light is very easy . The first power level is very bright each click you get a different brightness. There was no flicker issues. I don't know why in the description it's mentioned a red light or if that's due to the battery however, ours lasted three days.

So I like this little lantern. It's cute and shines very bright. The only complaint i have is when you put the batteries in pay attention how you put the lid on. The first time I wasn't paying attention, and I twisted it on and the button to turn it on was not lining up

We bought these for a planned power outage and they couldn't have worked better. I thought the reviews were too good to be true, but these absolutely lived up to the hype. Unbelievable performance, especially for their size. Bonus points for the price, honestly would even pay more if needed. Now my kids want some for their rooms. Remember to have 3-AAA batteries, and you're all set!

At first I thought it was a toy for a child, due to it's size. When I decided to put batteries in it and turn it on, I was shocked at how strong it was. I have a few different types of lanterns, and this little one is the strongest. I just ordered another one.

It was smaller than I expected but works better than I expected so it's a win!!! Brighter than you would imagine for a lamp smaller than a pop tart! I would highly recommend for any occation!

It says mini and boy is it small about 3 and a half inches tall and 2 inches wide. But it has different light settings all bright enough for you to see well enough in a tent with just one. If you're shopping on a budget and looking for something still good, this is a good option.

Very compact, lightweight and portable. This would be perfect for a camper van or something to keep the area light. I also love the 3 settings for brightness. It would be awesome if it was chargeable. Overall I am very happy with it and will put it to good use when camping

don't be deceived. I was looking for a bigger lamp. this thing is about 3 x 3 or 5 x 4 in size. haven't put batteries in it yet, but it's Ozark trail, so I'm guessing it'll be okay. I was shocked at size but I'm sure it'll be fine remember the song, "This little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine', well it might turn out to be great! it's all good! 👍👋
