Love this stuff. Have used it for many things including a zip line for my dog. Definitely recommend.

My husband is big on hiking and camping, so I'm never sure if the things I order for him will live up to his demands, but this paracord passed with flying colors. He uses paracord for tying flies over his tent, for securing hammocks, and a variety of other tasks. He says that he particularly likes the bright yellow color, in case he drops it on the ground amidst his other hiking and camping supplies on the campground. Hubby's happy, so I am, too!

This is a standard, 7-strand 550 paracord. I tryst Ozark Trail meets the strength standard (550-pound). I haven't had a chance to use this in practice because this was delivered (yesterday!!) after the camping trip that I was hopping to use this. I'm writing review now because Walmart keeps sending me reminders to write a review even though I got this saw yesterday! They need to manage shipping & delivery better if they want fast reviews!

The rope seems to be well made and strong. It was frayed a little at the ends and bird nested when trying to unfurl it. Otherwise very happy with the rope

This is for Ozark Trail 100 Foot 550lbs Paracord, 100% Polyester Yellow Color. OK, so what can you say about some paracord? Well, this type comes in 100ft lengths and is yellow in color. There are different strengths and this one is rated as Type III for 550lbs or considered basic parachute cord, there is type IV 750lb cord if you need more strength. This cord is made with a 7 strand core, there are 9 strand core cords, but cost more money. If you are looking for some basic cord for camping, tying down things in the back of a truck etc, this should do great for your needs. Of course there are many uses of paracord, just do some research on line for what it can do for you. I didn't do any testing of the weight ratings for this cord and am only going off what the package says, if your life depends upon this cord, I would do some testing prior to use. By looking at the product, it should accomplish everyday basic chores/functions. I gave this cord a 4 of 5 stars as I have not had the chance to use this cord in real world situations and will only know if its a 5 star after a variety of uses. Overall, I would recommend this product for general daily use.
