I love this chair. It sits a little lower to the ground than most usual chairs, so it's easier to stretch your legs out over the ground. As a result, you can squinch down low in the chair and use the back as a combination sling and headrest and relax kind of like you're on a lounge chair! The sling back also enables you to comfortably lie back. You can off course also comfortably sit in the chair! The mesh is airy and open - very breathable. This will be so comfortable for relaxing in the sun this spring and summer. It's outrageously easy to fold up (just press one side toward the other) and put back into its storage bag, and the closure on the bag was very innovative and secure; I'd never seen a bag made to close that way before.
I've had this chair for almost 3 years and it's had daily use. I've had a hole form on the right side but since it got there it hasn't gotten any bigger and doesn't get in the way at all. The rubberized material on the back side of the fabric has began to fray off but other than that the chair shows no sign of failure. It's compact and very comfortable I've used it for hours at a time. My go to camping chair
I recently had a chance to use this compact, lightweight camping chair. It comes with its own carrying case, which is convenient for storage and carry. It is very lightweight, so it doesn't feel a burden to carry it for camping, at the beach or sporting event. It folds out easily and sets up easily. The only concern I have is that the parts seems more "plastic" than my older camping chairs. But then again, they are more lightweight. So I see it as a reasonable trade off for the savings in weight. Time would tell how durable it is. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend.
Bought one for hubs and one for myself. No, it doesn't have arm rests and that's the only downfall. They are comfy though. I can sit and cross cross in it. You can lean back and it's more of a cradle than a stiff back traditional camp chair. Overall we are happy!
The chair seemed small for 270 pounds, but it is just right. I owned different chairs, and some are too small for me. This chair is on the smaller side than others, but comfortable for me. I would highly recommend this chair, as you can easy carry in its cover, and not bulky like others. One chair is food for mom or daughter!
This chair is unlike other camp chairs I have owned, because it doesn't have arm rests. It does still have a cup holder. I actually like this chair better. Because of the lack of arm rests, it seems to have a wider seat area and it kind of hugs me when I'm sitting, like a hammock. I also really like the strong bag it comes in, which buckles closed. This may very well be my new favorite camp chair.
My 10 year old uses this as a gaming chair. This is the second one I bought, the last one lasted 2 years before the mesh started to rip, but my son does acrobats on it and tortures it, so it may last longer for an adult. It has more of a recline position which my son finds perfect for gaming.
I would say I'm an average size adult female. This chair is a tad too small for me. It is angled back so it makes you want to lay your head back but there is no where to rest your head. So it really does add stress to your neck. All in all it's a sturdy chair and clarets for my kids so I'll definitely be using it!
Pretty fond of these chairs. They have a nice reclined position that makes sitting out by the fire for a few hours comfortable and more pleasurable. They are lower to the ground then the standard folding camping chair so be aware of that. They are still easy to get out of though. Its nice to prop your feet up on the fire circle and pretend the world doesn't exist. While the mesh is nice for warm temps you'll need to lay a blanket down first for cold. The mesh also reveals your backside so keep those britches up unless you're okay with people knowing your underwear brand. Carrying bag could be nicer given these cost double the price of a standard folding camping chair. The name brands that use this reclined format cost several times more so I cant complain too much. Winner for me after several uses.
Initially I purchased this chair because the bag packed up smaller than most of the other chairs offered. It's a bit uncomfortable because it forces you to sling way back and very low with no head or arm support. Without armrests, it's very difficult to stand back up because you have no leverage to push yourself upright. The cup holder it oddly placed; I'd rather have it on the nonexistent armrests. I returned the chair and got a different oversized one that sits more upright and has arms with cupholders.
