Ozark Trail Composite Telescopic Fishing Rod and Reel Combo with Baits for Adults, Teens, and Kids, 6' 6", Gray

Third of this item I have ordered from Walmart. Have stood up better to eyes breaking loose and corrosion than competitive brands I have purchased over the years. The 6.5ft length gives easier distance casting than competitive 5.5ft and 6 ft models. Only drawback is the pre-spooled line tends to be tightly wound causing excessive looping and lashing. Replacing the line resolves the issue.

This telescopic fishing pole is a great deal! It is a nice quality telescopic pole. I have appreciated telescopic poles for a long time, and this is a nice one! It comes with a decent fishing reel, and two lures, and is a fantastic deal for $25!! Love it!

I love this pole. I fish all the time and I had a collapsible Pole that broke the very first time I used it. I was livid so I didn't trust this one. was I ever wrong. it is durable, easy to line and comes with a nice cap to cover your eyelets when not in use. it doesn't get tangled easily and it casts great. I would absolutely recommend and I have bought two of these

Great pole for the price. The ONLY issue we noticed was that the line kept getting knotted up in the reel. The lures we got actually helped us get a decent amount of larger bass. I still recommend even with the the little issues it's got

to be honest this is my first fishing pole but for what you get it seemed cool ive watched reviews for it and overall seemed solid so i took my chance on it and its easy to assemble its around 6'3 or so fully extended so i wouldn't really recommend for small kids and the reliability on the pole being fully extended felt locked only reason am giving it for stars is just cause the delivery driver hail mary my package like prime tom brady but its whatever it had protection bubble wrap

This is a great choice for pretty much any fisherman. I will say that the reel and line that it comes with are functional but less than ideal. But the rod itself justifies the purchase and the line can be switched out for something much better. All in all, I will always keep this in my car in case I feel like having a quick fishing trip!

Pretty good combo for the price. Super satisfied with it. Rod is nice and sturdy and decent with sensitivity for bites. Reel is kind of rough and choppy, but DEFINITELY not bad, just if I'm being picky. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a backpacking combo for easy travel, as well as anyone in general. If you don't love the reel, upgrade it later on.

Wanted to get something cheap to stow away in my backpack when biking, hadn't caught any fish yet but reel broke apart 3rd time I used it. Got snagged on a log underwater about 10yrds out %26 with the weight of it the rod and reel both did good. Good rod for a collapsible but I'd recommend getting a reel like shimano sienna to pair up with it as a cheap travel combo

I really wanted this Ozark Trail telescopic fishing rod and reel combo to work out. The idea is excellent—who wouldn't want a fishing rod that can fit in a backpack?! But I had trouble with it right away. I had to untangle the line three times before I could even cast it into the lake. At that point, I gave up on it and decided to return it. It may have been user error, and others may have better luck, but this one did not work well for me.
