Ozark Trail Headlamp, 500 Lumens, 2 Pack, IPX4 Water-Resistant

It is an older model, kind of bulky, and may not be as durable as the 750 Lumen Ozark headlamp also sold by Walmart, but its 500 Lumen output is much brighter, and I think that is probably because the aluminum reflector cup that the LED chip sits in is much bigger so more light shines on the target. This 500 Lumen model comes in a 2 pack, so each headlamp is about 40 percent cheaper than the more expensive and less bright 750 Lumen headlamp. I plan on attaching it to the face shield i wear when spraying fruit trees at night (Don't want to kill the bees that are pollinating my trees...)

This headlamp comes in a set of two and is perfect for my family of four! We’ve mostly been using it to go on nighttime walks with our dogs. The multi-setting options (five total) is great and we find ourselves using all four. The medium brightness setting is perfect for us to walk on roadside sidewalks to brighten our path without causing major distractions to nearby cars. The headband fits comfortably on all sizes (male and female adults) thanks to the adjustable function. The lamp felt a bit heavy the first time I picked it up, but the weight doesn’t cause any inconvenience upon wear.

Good lights for the money. Bright LEDs, High beam, flood light, combination high/flood, Red light. Good battery life and batteries are easy to change in the field. Adustable band is comfortable wearing on a baseball cap. I use Red light a lot during night fishing. It keeps the bugs off my face and is bright enough for me to tie fishing line knots. It takes four clicks of the on/off switch to get to Red but I'll live with it and give it four stars.

We actually just had a bad storm with tornadoes and flooding this week in SE Wisconsin so it was perfect timing to have gotten this Ozark trail headlamp the week prior. Although our power didn’t end up going out, this was one of the first things I grabbed when we had to take shelter in the basement. I appreciate that it came with pre-charged rechargeable batteries so that I didn’t have to scramble to find some in an emergency. (I didn’t have the foresight to check that ahead of time.) My kids thought that it was really cool like they were a miner going underground. Another really useful feature is it usb ports so you can plug in your phone or other devices in an emergency situation. I can’t speak to longevity or battery life since we just got it, but it seems to be heavy duty

My husband tested these headlamps and had nothing but good things to say! The lights are bright with multiple settings to dim, great for indoor and outdoor. You can tilt and angle the light to be directly ahead of you and at your feet. There's also a red light as well. Overall reliable with several great future.

This is a great two pack of headlamps. They are extremely bright, at least with a full battery. I blinded myself seeing how they work. I really like that they have multiple settings and even a red light setting with comes in handy while camping or hiking at night. We've tried many headlamps and these are good quality. They will burn through batteries pretty fast though with each lamp needing three batteries. They did come with the first set, which is great. For a budget buy, these are great, but I usually prefer a rechargeable headlamp. It says that they last over three hours each which is pretty standard. They come with good and clear instructions if you don't know how to cycle through the different light settings. Also the instructions tell you how to open the battery compartment to change the batteries. They are adjustable and comfortable. Some headlamps are really heavy but these are not. They still feel sturdy and solid. Overall great little headlamps.

This is a good basic headlamp that's handy to have around for power outages or little trips outdoors. It's not your best choice for extended use or when you need a really bright light, but I don't think anybody expects that when the buy a headlamp at this price. They're a bit heavy and could be brighter, but absolutely get the job done.

This product was very surprising and very bright! I am extremely happy to have this! It is perfect for emergencies and for working. It has multi level brightness as well as a red light. It is also very heavy which leads me to believe it will last a very long time!

Buying headlamps as a couple means you always need two; the 2-pack solves that instantly. My wife and I each have one, and we reach for them constantly. Hunting, power outages, home improvement, working on the car, and having both hands free in those situations isn't just convenient, it's necessary. The brightness is impressive, and the multiple settings mean you're not stuck with one option regardless of what you're doing. These have come in handy more times than I can count. Definitely worth it.

Ozark Trail Headlamp is a great product; it is comfortable to wear, versatile for misc use, and long lasting. There is a red light that is great to notify others, bright LED lights with multiple settings, and an adjustable headband. Not only are they affordable, but you can buy in a two pack so more than one person can use.
