Ozark Trail Men's Hiking Boots, Waterproof, Medium Width

I purchased boots for my son to use at sleep away camp. I knew they would go through the mud both literally and figuratively so I didn't want to spend a great deal. These boots are good quality and my son says they are comfortable. Happy to find the supplies he needs at reasonable prices.

I do not know about anyone else but I'll admit I am a little rough on shoes. From yard work, being mom, working as a CNA to trying to start up a women own company, I am always on the lookout for a sturdy pair of shoes/boots. Shoot living on a snow belt calls for proper protection from the elements. And I don't know about ya'll but wet socks are no fun, with these boots being waterproof I don't have to worry about it anymore. They're comfortable, easy pulling on, and they look great with a nice pair of jeans.

I needed some water proof boots for spring yard work and mowing. I really expected to spend two or three times the money, but came upon these. The style isn't too bad, but I find the colors kind of strange. Anyway, the boots fit true to size, but took a couple wearings to break in. My feet stay dry and comfy. I haven't hiked in these, but I think they'd be pretty nice. Overall the boots are well made and a great value. I haven't purchased an Ozark Trail item that I haven't liked

I bought these to wear while doing yard work. After a very careful break-in period (5 minute walks in the house for a few days, and then a few 15 minute walks outside), I decided to go for broke and took these on a hike of several miles. While I cannot say that these could survive the AT, they did surprisingly well on a hike of several miles, including large elevation changes. No blisters, and no foot pain. I could not believe, for the price, that these did so well. Now, they have little to no arch support, so I would not recommend these as serious long-distance hiking boots, and though they may be waterproof, they are not breathable, so your feet still get damp (from sweat). After a few hikes (still no blisters), I finally used them for yard work, which was not problem of course. For the money, I would definitely recommend these, just break them in slowly, as they are quite stiff and snug when new. Also, I am no sure about the durability of the laces -- they have a couple of frayed areas already.

I bought a pair of these last year bc my feet were freezing outside at work. Absolutely loved them! Don't even need boot socks. So warm! I've had a ton of compliments on them in two years. This year I bought a pair for my father in law for Christmas.

Purchased these several months ago as a less expensive hiking boot compared to other brands. They fit well; are extremely comfortable and have held up well under many hiking trips through rugged terrain. Have not had them long enough to comment on long term durability; but so far I'm pleased with the $$$ spend and what I have gotten from these boots.

These are not high-quality, but they are waterproof and not uncomfortable. I couldn't justify spending 3-4 times this amount for higher-quality shoes when I only plan to use them to walk in the rain. I have a feeling they wouldn't hold up to everyday use or serious hiking, but they worked for my purpose- walking in rainy weather.

Bought this for my son for our trip to Alaska, we needed waterproof shoes. They fit according to size and he liked the color more than the pair he kept. However, comfort was a problem. These hit his ankle oddly and didn't have much padding. While these likely would have been great with a new insole we decided on the other pair. I am giving this a 4star review because I think it's a great boot. It just didn't fit for us.

My son has worn these as farm chore boots and church boots! He looks great! They wipe clean easily and have had much daily use for many months with no manufacturing defects. Highly recommend!

I've tried 4 different brands of boots and these top all of them . When they say waterproof they are exactly what it says . Wish I had purchased these years ago.
