really performed well in the snow and ice in North East Ohio. they are now waiting in my closet for next Winter. not in any hurry to wear them again, but....
Only thing I think would be good, is if it had a tab on the back by your heel so you could pull them on
Hard to get my feet in them, hard to get on. A softer lining would have been nice. Hard feeling to foot once you can insert ur foot.
Hard to pull on at the back, even after sizing up. Needs a pull tab at the back, but there's only one at the front. They are very warm though.
I ordered these in a size 7 and I'm a woman. So they should be a size 8.5 in women's . These booties were too snug on my feet and toes . My toes were right at the top of the shoe and the seam that runs across was bothering my toes. There would have been no way I would wear any kind of socks , that's how snug the boots were. I would suggest going a 2 sizes up if you plan on wearing socks or just to get your foot inside. I returned these booties to the store. I have another pair of Ozark shoes in a size 7 and they fit nice with room for me to wear my winter socks with. I wouldn't recommend these booties to anyone due to the sizing inconsistency.
These look fantastic. However, they run stupid small. Almost like a mistake was made somewhere. I normally wear a 10.5 wide shoe. For very wide shoes I can even drop down to a 10. I used the sizing guides provided for this item, and measured my foot length, ball of foot circumference and arch size. According to these, I sized up to a men's 11 for these booties. I can barely get them on when barefoot. I cannot pull them on at all if wearing socks. And when I do get them on, there is a taut stretch across the arch that is immediately painful. I gave them to my wife who wears a Women's 9. These Men's 11 booties a just barely a bit large on her! We thought maybe they are mislabeled, but they are stamped 11 on the sole, and the tags say "Men's 11" So, if you want to try these, size up a lot! These are also probably not recommended for high arch/high instep people. And additional one minor critique is they have a pull strap on the tongue, but none on the heel where one normally needs to tug to get them on.
I can't say much about the boots themselves because I haven't been able to try them. They run very small and I generally wear a size 8.5- 9 and this is definitely not a size 9 !! As it is Walmart also sent me four pairs - and I only wanted one pair !! I'll end up giving them away.
These are way too small (purchased a mens size 8) length wise and there is a very uncomfortable thick seam or ridge on the inside as the shoe begins to curve upward. they simply do not give any wiggle room whatsoever and my feet felt compressed - wouldn't even begin to fit with a pair of socks on. Unfortunately, these will have to be returned. *I was hoping to be able to wait out in the snow with them but didn't even get that far so I cannot say whether they have any real traction or not. They do seem to be sturdy and not bad looking.
I ordered a size 9 like I have in the past; but was unable to get slipper on without using a shoe horn. NO way this is size 9. The elastic that is on the sides to help slide on slipper was much smaller than past slippers I have order. NO NOT RECOMMEND; AND WILL NOT ORDER SLIPPERS AGAIN ONLINE. Slipper not in store and order online so CAN NOT return; since I do not have a store receipt!!
Runs small. Real Real small. Materials stiff. Could not get my foot even into the hole. Color was correct. Couldn't pull on.
