These are awesome! I was looking for a pair of Hiking boots but nothing fit right or looked good. Then I found these, they fit great and they look great plus the price of these areas awesome! Black is the best color & they go with everything and they fit perfect around ther ankle which is a necessity when hiking. Last thing you wanna do is snap an ankle in the middle if nowhere. They fit great and keep my feet dry. I hate boots that have no weather protection! These are perfect for me. I suggest you give these a try if you are looking for a comfortable yet rugged hiking/trail boot! Definite 2 thumbs up!
I do a 2 1/2 hour exercise period almost every morning consisting of 30 minutes of indoor exercises followed by an outdoor 6 mile hike which takes 2 hours. I'm always in the market for new hiking boots which I use in all types of weather conditions. Got a pair of the Ozark Trail boots and broke them in by wearing them on a 6 mile hike. The boots have a polyurethane upper which is easy to clean, does not need polish or conditioner, and paired with the molded sole appears to be waterproof. These boots are so comfortable I also use them for working around the house as doing construciton work I do work inside, but then need to walk up my stairs and go outside to saw and sand wood. These boots are so comfortable that you can easily wear them all day, other leather hiking boots that I've had in the past would make my ankle joint sore but these Ozark Trail boots caused no pain at all. If you want a comfortable, waterproof, durable, and good looking hiking boot, try these. You'll LIKE them!
These Ozark Trail Men's Troy Boots are worth the price. They're nice and rugged and keep your feet warm during the wonter months. They seem like they're built well and will last at least a couple of years. Good boots for shoveling, construction, light hiking. Nice rubber, non-slip tread. I would definitely recommend these to someone looking for a good, inexpensive pair of boots.
Was looking for a pair of hiking boots and decided to try the Ozark Trail Black Hiking Boots (MNOT42CA017). The boot soles were rugged and appeared they would give good grip when hiking. These boots are made of manmade materials and seemed very durable. When I first put them on, they were very comfortable and felt really good. I felt like I had great ankle support with these boots on. So, off on my hiking adventure and everything was going well until about 3 hours when my left ankle started hurting from the tung on the boot. The tung kept sliding to the left side of the boot putting pressure on my ankle when walking. I tried to move it around and even loosened the laces, but the pain just kept getting worse. After about 8 hours, I was dying to get this boot off my left foot. It's weird how my right foot was perfectly fine for the full 8 hours. The tung must have been sewn on at an angle that it kept sliding to the left side which put pressure on my ankle making it very uncomfortable. These are nice hiking boots, but the pain was not worth it.
Well the bottom split apart, not after long. Working in the restaurant industry that split means wet feet, and i didn't care for that.
these lasted 90 days before major tread seperation of shoe bottom, making unwearable. Happened after they got wet. Majorly bummed my $30 size 13 boots failed.
Bought these 5 months ago for my husband.. he wore them probably 20 times before the snow started and not since.. Today March 19 (warm day out) he wore them and the sole of the boot pealed back away from the toe area.. cheaply made I guess.. wouldn’t recommend .. A refund would be great
Walmart charged me 3498 for these boots. When I opened the box, the tag says 2998. What’s going on here? I believe I’m entitled to at least a five dollar refund. How greedy can corporate Walmart be?
Shoddy construction. Sole coming off the boot. Bought them in February and they have failed already. Cheap Junk, do not buy them.
My son was wearing it last month and the bottom sole came off. Too embarrassed for my son .so went out side and bought strong glue.
