Pretty solid boots at a very respectable price

Rhajon December 3, 2025

I picked up the Ozark Trail Men’s Troy Boots on a whim—honestly expecting little more than “Walmart brand Timberlands”—but I’ve been pleasantly surprised so far. I’ve only worn them twice, but both times they held up way better than I expected. They’re fully waterproof, which I learned after unintentionally stepping straight into a puddle, and the slip-resistant soles actually do their job. What impressed me most was the comfort. Usually boots need a break-in period where you question all your life choices, but these felt great right out of the box. No rubbing, no stiffness—just comfortable, sturdy boots that actually look good too. Overall, for the price, these are kind of shockingly solid. Walmart really said, “Here, have some discount Timberlands,” and somehow… they delivered. If they keep performing like this as I wear them more, they’re going to be my go-to pair for a long time.

I bought these boots for my partner and was very skeptical on the price because they were replacing his $80 pair of trail Boss ones that looked identical to these. they arrived on time the size was perfect and true and they're extremely high quality and definitely I'm looking at buying a second pair so I can throw his original old falling apart pair away

Great Boots

I purchased these boots for my husband and he absolutely loves them especially with the steel tiptoe. He works on i purchased these boots for my husband and he absolutely loves them especially with the steel tips. He works on ships and he needs those kind of boots to protect his feet. He works around a lot of metal and these boots are great for him.

No regrets

I usually wear steel toe boots for work inside a warehouse. My feet were starting to hurt so I wanted to try something with a soft toe. I decided to give these a try and I’m glad I did. My feet aren’t killing me after eight hours. Definitely worth the price.

Confusing shoes

anonymous September 25, 2025

I would definitely recommend these bottoms for outdoor use. I used them as work boots working in Walmart and they got tore up so fast from bending down and creasing my feet… writing this makes me rethink my review because if they can’t survive simple up and down motions or working at Walmart can they really hold up in the outdoors?

you get what you pay for

picture okay but on didn't even last 6 months in the soles came and glued from the upper part of the boot I use some quick setting epoxy two-stage epoxy including back together and it appears to be holding but they didn't even last 6 months other than that they're not bad they're pretty comfortable and their waterproof I really like that for a cheap boot I guess they're all right I think next time I'll spend a little more money and have something to last at least a year

Everything seemed fine except for the sole of the boot, which had lines on the bottom, and worse than that, the shape of the sole around the edges was cut as if it had been done manually. It wasn’t a clean cut it looked like it had been cut with a grinder, yes, a grinder. I definitely do not recommend this.

These boots started to separate along the sole. The stitching is for show only and the glue is separated in several places.

Its a pass for me, your mileage may vary.

Brett June 2, 2025

They look great, but they never were that comfortable. The construction leaves a lot to be desired too as they seem to be glued together and fell apart in less than 90 days in pretty casual use. They tend to fit a little larger than the posted size.

Ara May 2, 2025

these lasted 90 days before major tread seperation of shoe bottom, making unwearable. Happened after they got wet. Majorly bummed my $30 size 13 boots failed.
