We picked up these Ozark Trail weather boots for the boys, and overall we're really happy with them. They keep the snow out, are light enough to walk in comfortably, and feel well made for the price. We sized them one size larger than their regular shoe size so they could wear thicker socks, and that has worked out great — plenty of room and extra comfort.
Great boots! These arrived in just one day, which was a huge plus. They're very stylish, warm, and the height is perfect to keep snow from getting inside. I sized up so my son can hopefully wear them next year too, and they still fit well now. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
Nice warm boots waterproof, with deep treads. Easy to put on, no shoe strings to tie, yet fits securely. When deciding on size if you wear normal everyday socks get a half size larger than your normal shoe size. If you wear heavier winter socks you'll need to purchase a full size larger.
Had looked at these boots last winter and have needed a good winter boot. Have only worn around the house for a bit when they arrived but seem to be more than adequate for my use, shoveling the driveway mostly. They go on w/o too much of a fight and weight / bulk are reasonable. I wear a 10 w / 10 and a half in shoes and after reading reviews, I bought a size 11 which seems to be correct. They arrived the day after our first 3" or 4" snowfall, so just missed trying them out for their intended purpose, but I think they'll do the job fine.
The first time wearing them with just light cotton socks on they seamed a little tight, but by the end of the day out snowblowing, couldnt ask for a better fit. My feet stayed warm and dry all day, I do recommend not wearing them indoors too long before going out, I made that mistake and thats when I noticed my feet getting cold, from being sweaty I imagine. But, am very pleased with them, highly recommend.
I found the boots to fit good and are waterproof. I am a size 12 and ordered size 12 and they fit very well. I gave a 4 star rating because of the straps on the boots to tighten them up is a little hard to do when it is cold out. The boot itself is a little stiff because of the cold so you have to really pull on the strap to tighten them up.
The only thing I didn't like is how it's sized the use European size and it's hard to get the right size so I had to return them for a bigger size. They are very warm and really lite weight there great on the snow and ice My feet were very warm and I was very happy I would recommend them to anyone
Warm, very roomy toe—love that!!—and very waterproof! Good pvc(?) outer upper, for clear wipe-off. Good, solid sole—however, I don't recommend driving in these, unless you have broken them in for a month , or longer. Very hard to “feel” gas/brake Pedals through the sole, and the sole is not very flexible. Great got snow blowing/shoveling, though!
We have had a freakishly warm Idaho winter this year so I can't fully vouch for how they are as far as keeping feet warm and dry in snow and really cold weather. BUT my son has said they are comfortable and kept his feet warm while it was in the 30's/40's. They slip on and off easily and were a good price for men's size winter boots. Other reviews seemed positive so we took a chance on them. So far no regrets.
These boots are so uncomfortable. I just wear a couple pair of socks because I needed them immediately and did not have time to return them and keep shopping. The side velcro strap leaves very little room to tighten the boot or loosen it around your ankle. Also, the drawstring at the top does not allow you to make it that tight so your boot does not move around. You get what you pay for. I need them to walk from the house to the car so they are going to be used very little and just in several inches of snow.
