Very light and compact. At 5'10” and 250 lbs, I fit fine in the chair. I have not attempted to fully recline in it camping, but on tile flooring it was steady.
A bit heavy for backpacking, but I definitely enjoy it for regular camping. Very easy to set up and stays comfortable for hours. Other camping chairs hurt my lower back, this one reclines enough to relax my back. Also, I am 64 years old and 175 lbs and this is not hard to get out of.
These are cute chairs, very easy to set up, and very sturdy. I fit in them well, but Im a 5 foot 6 woman, so larger men might not be as comfortable in them.
For $20 this is a really nice and compact chair. Yes, it's a little under 4lbs (i think), but I think I'd still take it backpacking. the sturdiness would be worth it. OR... I could spend 5x or more on a lighter chair that would save me maybe 2 lbs. I'll take this one.
This version is way better, since it doesn't have any mesh, which could be a point of failure on other similar products. I wouldn't trust this chair with 250 lbs, but for lighter weight individuals (200lbs or less totally doable and reasonable). Flat-ish as possible surface is recommended when setting up chair Long term durability, only time will tell. Good value for under $20 bucks.
it is heavier sadly than the tag.... but it is a good backpacking chair non the less. for those who are saying it's too low....they never used a backpacking or travel stool...that thing is literally 5 inches of cloth covering your bottom and it's meant for travel. this is no different, travel chairs are NOT full size chairs. if you need a full size, then opt for it. if you want something that is easier to carry and you don't mind it being a little shorter, than get this one. again, main gripe is it is heavier than most travel chairs
The chair is great quality and compact. The chair is pretty heavy for long back packing excursions. There are definitely lighter ones out there but for the price you can't beat it. I'm going on a 2 day hiking trip so I am giving it trial run. Definitely nice to just to have in the car. I'm giving it 4 stars for the weight and I'm giving 5 stars to Walmart delivery. I ordered around 11:00 am and it was at my doorstep around 6:30 pm same day! Before I ordered the chair it said it would be 2 day free delivery. So I was quite surprised to get an email with a photo with my chairs outside my door. A to Z needs to step up their game.
These chairs are sturdy and comfortable. Im 5 ft 10 and average weight. They are relatively light weight. They take a little upper body strength to stretch the fabric over the last leg support. I ordered 2 chairs. One of them had legs that tended to cause the chair to twist. I ordered a third and it was fine. I recommend the chairs.
This is a very sturdy chair. Although I purchased it for backpacking, the description said it weighs 2.2 pounds, I was extremely disappointed to find out it weighs 3.4 pounds. Makes a huge difference when youThis is a very sturdy chair. Although I purchased it for backpacking, the description said it weighs 2.2 pounds, I was extremely disappointed as it weighs 3.4 pounds. Makes a huge difference when youre packing it on your back.
Chair is made of steel and very heavy. It weighs 3.5 lbs. Definitely not a backpacking chair. It is very wobbly as well. The feet are uneven when no one is sitting in it. I will be returning for a refund and purchasing one that is aluminum and lighter. This would be ok for car camping.
