Ozark Trail Truck Tailgate Cover Pad, Bicycle Rack

My son just started driving and he has a new truck he loves and wants protected. I bought this tail get cover so we can can put bikes funiture or whatever we want and still protect his truck. It is padded very well and it isn't heavy. It is easy to use and the instructions help walk you through putting it on if you can not figure it out. This tail gate pad has pockets for extra storage which is very handy. The pad is well made and sturdy. The material is strong and really nice. This is a great tail gate pad. It works really well and I highly recommend it.

Very cool concept that intrigued me as a Mom who hauls bikes. We live a few miles from great rail trails, but no safe way to ride to the trails so I have to load them up. Our normal bike rack works great, but it takes forever on my SUV to get the 4 bikes on/off. So this soft carrier goes on the truck tailgate, and protects the truck from any scratches from the bike. Literally takes just a few minutes to secure and can fold back up and store in garage between uses.

This tailgate pad is awesome, it holds my bikes perfectly without scratching or damaging my truck, very easy to set up and use. It comes with pockets for extra storage. I love that it doesn't cover the back up camera on my pickup! Material is high quality and durable.

I received this Ozark Trail Car Tailgate Cover Pad for my use and review. Very nice cover for the back of my truck. It has a soft liner so that the paint is protected, but a waterproof on the outside. Love the pouches to carry things when I go biking.

Great product! This really protects the paint on your tailgate and your bicycles! Made of a durable vinyl, this was easy to install and use. Will hold up to 5 bicycles at a time. There is a Velcro flap for reach your tailgate latch and two pockets on the back side for storing small items. Definitely recommend!

This is super easy to put on your truck. There are 4 straps that you put around it and tighten. It is soft padding underneath so it doesnt scratch the paint. It holds 5 bikes which is great because our bike rack only holds 4 and we have 6 people in our family, one is a baby who doesnt have a bike. It also has 2 pockets to put anything you might want to hold inside. This is great because we can still attach our camping trailer or trailer with kayaks for good times!

This is a great way to travel with a bike and bikes do secure easily. We did have a bit more difficulty securing a smaller childs bike but we managed to make it work. We have also used this cover often transporting lumber. It is cushioned, protecting the tail gate, while also being able to secure what we have needed to transport. There are velcro pockets on the inside of this that have been useful storage. This entire cover was easy to install taking only a few minutes. It adjusts easily as well. There is also a velcro area that gives access to the tailgate handle. We have a bed cover on our truck and this does work with our particular model. We had no issues with the straps staying in place or any damage to paint with using this. We have only used this going short distances, but would recommend this.

So I am not using this item for bikes on our truck. i can see how it would be very helpful with that though. I am using it to just protect my truck from the million other things I put in my truck to transport. It works for anything which I like. If I have to put a ladder in my bed, before I was always worried about getting scratches on my truck. But now I feel better knowing I can put a cover down that is secure and stays up. This is different than just laying down a sheet, it actually snaps on and stays in place. This is a great item to have if you have a lot of stuff in your trunk that you drive around with and you need to keep it and your trunk from getting damaged.
