The pros: Solea are true rubber, with exceptional grip, the style is attractive, with a waterproof shoe. High quality these boots will definitely last The cons The quality control of the eyelets and the material zone right around the top of the foot have sharp pieces or bulky pieces of material that dig into your foot when you tighten the boots. I tried two different pairs and each had what I would call a defect in the workmanship in the a bulky piece of hard material was sticking into your foot at different places. The only other con is the boots are a bit heavy.

After a month of wear, the plastic is starting to peel away from the rubber sole. They're not very waterproof now. I wear these boots everyday in the sun, rain, and snow. I don't purposely take them out into deep snow, just use them for casual day-to-day wear. A quick repair with some shoe glue should get me through the winter, but I'll probably have to consider getting new boots next year.

Bought these to replace a pair of Herman work boots I'd been using for the job because I thought they looked cute. Got our first snow today and as I shoveled off the drive, I found myself slipping in the leftover slush. Switched to the old Hermans and no more slipping. Who makes snow boots without slip resistance soles?!?!

The rubber is coming away from the boot after four months of wearing
