Ozeri ZK420 Garden and Kitchen Scale, with 0.5 g (0.01 oz) Precision Weighing Technology

I love this sleek little scale for it's accuracy and price. The best feature is the tare weight option meaning it will weigh a empty container (not furnished) then goes back to zero so you can still get the net weight of whatever food you are weighing.

Using this scale for sourdough starter. The bright green color makes me smile. I have taken quite a bit of kidding from my kids in regards to the packaging and name on the product lol.

I think this is a good sized scale for someone who cooks for three people or less. It's a tad small, but I works for me. At this price point, I'm glad I bought one.

Neat little scale! The weighing area is 5-3/4"x 5-3/4" and the overall dimensions 5-3/4"x7-1/2". The display is nice and bright with backlighting. I preferred this over the round Ozeri scale, as this one has a slightly bigger weighing area, backlighting, and is accurate to more decimals. However, this scale does not come with the required three AAA batteries; the round Ozeri scale comes with the required two AAAs but costs a little more. You can switch off the scale when done, or it switches itself off after 2 minutes, which you can change to 5 minutes if you prefer. A good value!

I'm vegan and an exercise instructor. I am careful about what I eat, and use a fitness app to track my daily food. In the morning, for example, I make Tofu Scramble and I need to keep the tofu at 3 ounces. How would I measure it without this great little scale? It's perfect, and it keeps me from overeating!

Great scale and good price! I use it alot for cooking and baking! it's very useful for recipes that don't use US measuring cups or spoons. Neat little scale that does g, lb, ml and such. And the tare is great in zeroing out the bowl or cups you put on the scale to add or measuring certain items. I recommend buying one if you are a frequent cook baker!

works great though the picture on the box is very interesting. This is a "garden" scale but the picture definitely leaves question as to its actual purpose thats intended.

This scale is very accurate, which is nice. However, this is much smaller than what is specified on the website. Under specifications, it says this scale is 12 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 4 inches tall. So I was expecting a fairly decent sized weighing platform, so I was surprised that the platform is barely over 5.5 inches wide and long. Hopefully I can make it work for what I need it to weigh, but we'll see. Also, the box does say 420 Garden Scale if you would be offended by that.

Ordered from walmart.com, shipped directly from Ozeri. When it arrived, the packaging read “420 garden scale” and had a photo of the product - with drugs on the weighing platform - clear as day. Inside the box was the scale wrapped in bubble wrap, instruction booklet, and two small see-thru and metallic baggies with zip-top and notches for opening after it's been sealed for… sales. I bought this for my kitchen, for making dinner. Now every time I see it I'll think of Mary Jane. I'm just glad my young kids didn't see the packaging, as we are a drug-free household. The product performs as expected, but I took off 2 stars for the box design.

If youre trying to weigh something small like 1 gram of species i do not recommend.. mine is just collecting dust in tge corner because i never got around to returning it! Lol but hey it might work for other things like maybe shipping something.. it didnt work for me but over all imgiving it 3 stars because it turned on and still works after about a year of having it..
