Money well spent!
So I purchased 2 of these units and put one in the front and one in the back of 1/3 acre property, plus I have about 5 acres of woods around me. Yes, they worked for me. My property was a mess with tunnels. Batteries lasted for at least 6 months. With the spring thaw, I noticed tunnels appearing again and replaced the batteries and chased them off again within a week. I have 2 which is more than what they say I need. But I was willing to spend the money to get rid of those pests! I did notice that one of them was not working. You can hear the buzz. The metal contact at the top battery nub was not making contact with the top battery. I slid it back into its slot and all is good for a second season.

I had a gopher dig with in 20' 2 different places !!!!!
