Get the original instead of this
These knockoff nvidia shield remotes are junk, buttons stop working properly after just a few days of use, eventually getting so bad it won't work at all. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that the company lets you return it for a refund - I did it 5 times before getting the brand name remote from nvidia direct, which have no such issues, and it's just a few dollars more

This remote is a knockoff. Lag makes this remote unbearable. I sometimes have to press a button more than once to get it to work. Buy from Nvidia.

Save your money
Right off the bat there were no instructions or diagrams to show you how to get into the battery compartment. No real directions for connecting/syncing with TV. Returning to store
