Super good upgrade from my Segway-Ninebot. The lights are super catchy at night! The front brakes are new to me but I'm getting use to them. The alarm/horn/turn signals are RIDICULOUSLY loud but is a very cool touch. The blood orange is a really good color as well. Everything came as described & I will do a follow up review later on! Overall best money I spent in awhile!
Going up a steep hill the Ninebot max barely goes up at 2mph on sport mode with its 350w motor, going up that same hill the p65 chugs right up at 10 mph on sport mode. The 500w motor gives much more torque with the P65, and the P series scooter is much more wide and stable. A front shock similar to the G2 at a minimum would be nice and would make this scooter perfect and would allow it to keep its cool lower profile, but I ike this scooter since 25mph is fast enough for me, torque is really good, and I did not want the added weight and all the extra stuff of the p100 since I will be operating on mostly smooth surfaces.
Awesome scoot, no complaints. For the people giving this a low score because they can't reach the advertised top speed - you are electronically limited to 20 MPH by default to comply with various laws but it's easy to turn off this speed restriction via the settings on your phone app. Go into Settings -> Riding Habits. In Riding Habits, Click on Speed Mode and select MAX speed mode, Turn On "Higher speed in S mode", and set "Acceleration in S mode to "Strong". Using these settings will give you maximum acceleration and power in Sport Mode. There are instructional videos on YT that will show you the ins and outs of the scooter settings, as well as maintenance. I would recommend checking them out if you get the scooter.
I have owned many kick scooters such as xaomi , Okai Neon Pro, Segway F30, DX40, G30LP, MAX G30, and now recently the P65U. All I can say is I this scooter commands respect as it just looks cool. It has excellent acceleration and the 25mph top speed gets you places quickly compared to the 18-21mph with my other scooters. The only problem with this scooter is the throttle all of a sudden started to stick causing the scooter to take off and rammed my wood fence causing it to Crack a fence board and scuffed my knuckle as I tried to get control of it. I was kinda upset at first but you know things happen, however after I contacted segway support they responded quickly and instructed me not to ride the unit and sent me a shipping label to send it back for inspection. It Is a bummer not having it available because I hate walking places and I love commuting to work with it where everybody just think it is awesome. I absolutely recommended this scooter as I'm sure this throttle is just a fluke and confident Segway Support will take excellent care of my issue and have this resolved in a timely matter. I absolutely recommend this scooter.
Hands down best scooter I have ever owned or ridden, fast charging in just 4 hours,40 miles range, great lighting, very compact when folding and easy to hold at 52lbs,tested and approved on the San Fracisco streets and hills!! Great job segway! also Beautiful Design very very clean!!
I weigh 192 lb even... I easily do 25 miles per hour at 15% battery at 22 grade Hill!!!! I live in Rockland Maine the roads up here are terrible all kinds of bumps and cracks!!! This thing still works great you just have to watch out where the bumps are and that's no problem with the headlight that you can see almost half a football field! It says 4 hours to charge I can charge from 20% to 50% and about an hour! This thing's ready to go 10 miles every hour do a little gorilla charging 😅🤣
The Segway P65 is a great scooter and I have to say I am very happy with my purchase. I have had it for just under a month and it has been awesome! The tires provided spectacular grip and it is super-fast and will get you up to the max speed in no time. However, I will have to say I was disappointed to find out that the top speed is only 22MPH instead of the claimed 25MPH, but it is still a super quick scooter and has good range and is efficient. If you are looking for something capable for an everyday traveling method the P65 is an outstanding scooter and great for everything.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've rode my kick scooter about five times and all of a sudden it will not turn on. The only feedback I'm getting is to make sure the battery is charged a whole list of things to check which I've already checked and I just keep getting told to check those things again. Kind of upsetting. I think you guys need to send me a new one and let me send this one back
Even when I change the speed in the app I cannot do 25 miles per hour. The new update that Segway did goes by where you live with state laws and where I live you're not allowed to go faster than 21 or 22 miles per hour so there's a limit on the scooter. With that being said even if I'm on my own property I can only do 22 Mph.
I'm not even sure where to start . I own both go karts and 5 of their folding scooters not counting this one . This one is aweful and I wish I could return it . App doesn't unlock it need the nfc key . Can't move it without setting off alarm which is a problem when you throw it in your camper . Can't do 25 unless the wind is with you and you're going downhill . No suspension . No suspension. No suspension . Rides like it has block wheels . Brake only works on the front so it tries to throw you over the front if you try to stop too quick .. I could go on but why . Do not buy this one . It's too big, too heavy , too underpowered and the ride quality is bad . Shame on me for not checking reviews before purchase .
