This year for Easter, I, the grandmother, made all the colored eggs. I am half Greek. I wanted to share the "Egg Bump" contest with my children and grandchildren this year and continue the tradition. They aren't small kids and didn't want to dye the eggs. So I did it myself. I dyed 13 eggs and wrote each person's name on the eggs with the wax crayon inside the box. The colors were bright and cheery. Each person took their egg and held it with their hand wrapped around the egg holding it so the pointed part of the egg was up. The other person holds their egg with the pointy part down and hits the other's point of the egg. They do both sides-point to point and bottom to bottom. Sometimes one side breaks and the other doesn't and sometimes both sides break on one egg. After everyone cracks with another person, then we do the second round. Those who have uncracked bottoms crack with another person with the same. And those with totally uncracked eggs bumps with another egg that it totally unbroken. Those who survive this round repeat the egg bump until there is only one egg that is un-broken. They are the champion for Easter. I encourage them to save the unbroken age and let it sit unbroken for a few years. It turns to like a ball inside that will roll around. I used to think all American kids did this but found out when I was about 9 that it is only a Greek tradition. It is a fun tradition and I am glad I dyed the eggs.
Great dye as always! I don't believe I'd ever purchase any other brand as PAAS is always dependable in dying our Easter eggs!
It was just what I wanted. Cups for tying eggs and the rye itself. Thank you very happy with my purchase
My grandsons had a great time dying eggs! I bought this because the cups were included and it just made clean up much easier!
great! kids lived this
Worked great!
This was the ideal kit to color eggs with young children. My only disappointment was that the pink dye didn't work.
a egg dying staple bc the included cups are such a convenience however two cups arrived with holes this year. disappointed but will continue to buy.
The cups were great, but sadly there were no color dyes in this kit. I had to use whatever color dye I had on hand for my eggs this year. I would like a complete refund for this item plus my $5 for responding to this review. I do not want the item replaced...obviously it is too late for that!!! Also, I am not sending photos because all has been trashed. Thank you, Carol
item never delivered. im disabled %26 have put explicit details of where to put items ordered. my requests are ignored. supposedly i have an item that was delivered today. its not here. again, i dont know wheredelivery person is putting my items. a couple of months ago, i ordered some shampoo that was expensive. he must have just thrown the package on the cement because the glass bottles were broken %26 leaking through the box. im getting so tired of paying for items that get destroyed or delivered elsewhere!!!!
