I ordered the product online and it was cheap and it worked good when my family was coloring Easter eggs.
My kids eggs came out great they had fun and the price was very good and great quality with the egg dye
I always use PAAS egg dye kits, in my opinion they are the best but I was super excited about them coming out with a bigger kit. This will help save from kids fighting over the dippers or bowls of color and I don't have to purchase multiple kits. The bowls are fantastic!
Be careful opening the box. Both sides of the box have cutouts for stands to hold the eggs after decorating. And the drying tray is the bottom of the box. Contains: 12 clear egg-shaped cups for coloring, 12 individual dye tables, 6 metal dippers for lifting the egg, 2 clear / white crayons for creating a design prior to dipping into the dye, 28 egg stands, and 1 drying tray (which is the bottom of the box.) Printed on the side of each cup are two numbers – the 1 is for the first step of dye tablet and vinegar; the 2 is for the ½ cup of room temperature water. You do need to make sure the water level is enough to cover the egg totally or else you get a white spot where the egg was out of the dye water. NOT INCLUDED: white vinegar, water, an item to measure ½ cup of water and a spoon. You need one tablespoon of white vinegar per color tablet and a spoon (that is not wooden) to stir the dying mixture of water, dye tablet and white vinegar. You don't need a tablespoon to measure the vinegar – the 1 line is actually the perfect 1 tablespoon measurement. This kit is great for dying a lot of eggs at the same time or for the afternoon. To have 12 individual cups for dying liquid is awesome! The suggested dying time (listed on the box) is 5 minutes per egg. Colors vary in depth by how long the egg is left in the dye. Every color of the rainbow seems possible! The egg-shaped cups are cute! I am already thinking of ways to use them – as shapes for making refrigerated desserts, outlines for cutting eggs out of paper. The dyeing process – what a fun way to teach what colors make what colors (blue + yellow = green.)
This set is fantastic! It comes with 12 cups, 12 dye tablets, 6 egg dippers, 2 magic crayons, 28 egg stands and 1 drying tray. It's simple to use with just throwing a tablet in a little vinegar. They dye dark and bright if you let them sit for at least a minute in the cup. The set is big enough for the whole family to use. We have 3 young boys and it's easy for them to use when we sit at the table and put a cloth down before we start. So much fun for Easter.
I love this set comes with everything you need to dye eggs. It comes with 12 dye tablets, 12 cups to dye eggs in, 2 crayons, 6 egg dippers, the dry rak on the back of the package and 28 egg stands that are on the box. We don't use the egg stands, but i love that they give you 12 cups, so much easier to clean up. I don't have to use my own cups and i can toss these when we are done.
Great product. We have used this brand to dye our eggs for years and they always turn our great. As usual, if you want them darker, be patient and leave them in the dye longer! It does stain hands and fabric items, to be careful with that. My kids wear plastic gloves while doing this.
Not going to lie--haven't used this kit yet because Easter is still a month away--but I'm so excited! All my life I have looked forward to Easter and dying and hunting eggs--and this year I'll be decorating eggs with my grandchildren. With 12 cups and 12 dye tablets there will be plenty of colorful combinations created. And I love having the bendable egg dippers instead of using table spoons. This kit includes two magic crayons to use to draw unique designs on the eggs that will stand out. The box is also useful as it turns into a drying tray and 28 colorful egg stands. How fun this is going to be!
I have always used PAAS Easter egg decorating kits. A couple times I tried a different brand and was very disappointed. PAAS has never diapsappointed me, in fact, has amazed me especailly when they come out with something new and different especially like adding gold to the eggs. They looked terrific. Another year with amazing colored eggs getting compliment after compliment.
The item was sent in a BAG with a 96 count box of crayons. Everything in the package was smashed including all the crayons! This unacceptable! DO BETTER WALMART!!
