If you have never used PAAS to decorate your eggs for Easter you are missing out. I've used this since my kids were little and now using it for my grandkids. This one is super cute if you like tie-die and glitter. It is supper easy to color eggs with PAAS and it gives you everything you need.
This little kit is simply made and fun to make. Its a few weeks until easter but it will be fun tk color the eggs early and eat them up as the kids love to scavenge the eggs around the house. This allows us to make them almost like a tie dye metallic color.
This was so fun! We absolutely loved the turn out of the eggs, they were so so pretty! The glitter of course made it so much MORE! It was super easy and easy clean up. I would 100% recommend trying this kit and I would also use it again myself and try more colors because they came out so so pretty! Me and my 6 yr old and 19 yr old did them together and we all were amazed at how cool they looked!
Very cute Easter egg dye that is great for those of us that love decorating the traditional eggs. My favorite aspect of decorating eggs this way is that there is less waste to pickup, the packets are labeled clearly and the kit includes everything you need to decorate the eggs.
It is our family tradition every year to decorate and hide Easter Eggs. This year we went a different direction in dyeing eggs. PAAS has came out with a new way to design Easter Eggs. Everything you'll need is included, except for the eggs of couse. Inside the box, you will find instructions along with a powder substance that you will need to whisk with water for about 3 minutes until the mixture because frothy. For the next step, I would lay down parchment paper onto a baking sheet. Pour the mixture onto the parchment paper. The dye color comes in the 3 primary colors. Each color comes in its own packet. (I wish they were in squeeze bottles) You will then drizzle the desired colors onto the frothy mixture. Once that has happened, it is time to dye the eggs. Place an egg on the foam and roll around until you get the design you want. Then place the eggs off to the side to dry. Once dry, rinse the foam off the eggs to revile the design effects. There is also glue that is in a squezze bottle and then glitter. Have fun and enjoy. *****I did receive this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion.*****
The end product was a sparkaliciously fabulous set of glittery eggs that were just as, if not, more fierce than a unicorn's earrings. While it was a giant pain to whip up the foam and not have all the colors blend together into purple mush, the end result was amusing, questionable in terms of whether they were edible, and most assuredly was a hit while we listened to “It's Raining Men” and watched SpongeBob. I'll also probably never be able to forget the experience because let's face it, glitter never really goes away. Stay frosty y'all.
The dye was old dried up. I had bought 2 of them for my special needs students at school. We were all ready to dye eggs. They were excited and then we couldn't do it because it was dried out so bad that you could crack it .
Don't do it. The powder and water don't make foam. I've been mixing this garbage with an electric mixer for half an hour. My kid is bummed, my arm is sore, and now we have to figure something out.
Nightmare to use
I wish I had noticed that most every review was incentivized. These didn't work at all. I followed the directions exactly and it wasn't fluffy it was runny. We rolled eggs in it and then let them sit while we did all the other eggs. When I rinsed them they were white again. Complete waste of money. You could do this with some shaving cream and food dye.
