A bit more expensive than some, but well worth it. Looks great and fits perfectly on 2025 Ram 1500. The install video that RealTruck did is extremely helpful( forget the included instructions!) only issue was the included seal for the front of the truck, had about a 1/2in gap between the cover and bed, so just replaced with an expansion foam seal and all is good.
Real really enjoyed the product. It looks good on the truck. Easy to assemble.
I owned a different cover before and I love this set up and that I don't need a key to make sure it is secure.
The ultragroove tonneau cover looks great in place and definitely much more secure than those soft covers. No lie, it was much more work to install than the videos and instructions would seem to imply. Some custom fitting was required to get in place on my 2018 RAM 3500. Read all instructions many times through, might save time and have a buddy handy to help with install. A helper will make install easier and quicker.
Real Truck did price match very well and beat another vendor's Best Price. The UltraGroove Tonneau Cover is a great product but their Installation Instructions leave a lot to be desired and is more difficult than most covers. It is also extremely helpful to have 2 people to do the install. The product looks great but I do retreat loosing the extra space the box takes up. I do believe it is one of the better covers to resist water intrusion.
Nice tonneau..fairly easy install. The handle to activate is too far neck and you could likely just pull up on the back and release it. So it's a bit more secure looking than it is. That being said, if someone wants in, they will get into any of them.
Since I have a 2024 Chevy 3500 Dually my options are limited. I searched and reviewed my options. I settled on this cover. I liked having the option for a kayak rack if I want one. I really like the over look. I didn't like the stack rack covers they provided. So I purchased better ones on Amazon. I also didn't like the foam gasket provided for a long the cab so I purchased a better one. It really made a difference. This installation is not easy for one person with the 8 foot bed rails. I can't fault them, but I I was able to install it alone. I feel it is over priced and cheaply made. For the price I expected better quality . Most of it is plastic. The latches are even plastic. I know when plastic gets cold it don't get brittle. Will they wear out over time. Long story short time will tell. But I do like the look that I wanted. I tried to attach pictures but it won't let me.
After the first order had mismatched and incorrect parts, I finally got a replacement. In the first order, the siderails and cover canister were mismatched and would not go together. Further, when I got the replacement, it was clear that none of those parts in the original order were the correct ones anyway. Installation of the replacement went OK, although the instructions are really poor. I don't find the fit and finish to be particularly impressive, but it should do the job.
Looks good and with light use will function great, if you farm or plan on doing work with the truck this particular product is not tough, better to get a flip open hard cover... The cover doesn't lock into the rail so if the rail separates the cover falls out and the whole process of installing needs to happen again, if a water cube hits the side rail then you open it the cover will fall out and the side rails are not strong enough to keep in place when bumped hard, also the housing is thin, so be careful throwing and lumber against it, the metal the the lock hooks to is week and bends east (after second use) so it doesn't lock well, and you need to lift the cover up then you close the tailgate because the center sags maybe 1/16th of an inch but that little bit will catch tge tailgate, this is a perfect product for light duty use and looks great and was simple to install !
The cover latch feels weak and does not always latch. The pull strap cannot be used to roll the cover back into the cannister - it will latch at each 12" stop position if tension is held on the strap while the cover is retracted. This requires the cover to be held in the hand and the latch turned and locked (hopefully) then left the cover roll back in to the cannister. This process is what customer service advised to do! Don't like to slam the truck doors closed - this feels like slamming the door. At highway speed the closed cover vibrates from wind pressure - not noisy but distracting when looking in rearview mirror! For price paid, not really excited about this cover!
