Use the install video as the instruction manual is not very descriptive. The drain tubes supplied need to be more flexible. Overall the install was not too difficult. Took about an hour an a half by myself.
Install was medium difficultly, 2 people are a must, left side rail was difficult because of burs on the aluminum and interface with a screw mount on the roll cover, oune everything was centered better, it all came together, end result is awesome
Cover seems to be of high quality, installation instrucitons could be improved slightly with a little more detail and installation video. But you can figure it out with a little brain power. My only negative so far is the passenger side rail was bent in shippint on the cab side end. I have reached out to Pace Edwards for a new one, I have not had contact yet, but it is a holiday week.
Let's get to the positives. The top arrived packaged well, the parts and pieces were complete and all parts were in excellent condition. There were no scratches, dents, or flaws in the painted pieces. The top fits well and is relatively good at keeping the water out. It looks amazing and functions as described. The bad... I have the OEM provided trail rail management system and the instructions are a disaster. The front rail closest to the cab needs to be removed but not noted in the instructions... but that's probably the most obvious flaw and the least troublesome. The OEM strap mounts with the rail system needs to be installed in a certain order and it took quite a bit of installing and uninstall and reinstalling to find the proper order to get all of the pieces and continue to use the strap mounts. The instructions also don't include installing the strip needed to keep the bed dry. Not a huge deal and I'm guessing most people will figure it out. And there is a sweet spot for the location of the top in order to keep the bed dry and have it not run into the tailgate. It took a lot of trail and error to make it perfect. My install took almost 3 hours to install properly due to the lack of proper instructions. Overall it's a great product and I would recommend to others.
Not a good product
Aluminum rail burs make install nightmare.
