I had one of these on my prior truck for 16 years. It works well and is easy to open, close, and lock. It was still in great shape when I sold it. So, I didn't hesitate to get another one for my new truck. I'm looking forward to this cover lasting a long time.

I really like the cover. It fits great on my Chevy 3500. Make sure to install the pathe pull strap. It has an important function having to do with the lock. Retractable works good. Very satisfied with my purchase.

This is my 3rd of these to buy and install. Much cleaner and simpler to use than many other models on the market -- nothing sticking up from the bed, and smoothly rolls out of the way. Install took about an hour -- get the cover started into the rails before you attach them. Has a thick vinyl cover over the metal where my past ones were just aluminum. Looks good; will see about longevity. Rail design is improved over previous -- now has sidewall bracing to hold the weight of the cover better. Locks in place, solid, and virtually waterproof.

Slick design, very easy to install.

I brought this retractable cover and it actually looks better than the picture once I installed it. Had a small issue and this company answered fast and shipped out my piece I needed very fast as well. They had great communication and I am very satisfied! I am scoping a couple more ite.s to buy from them. Thank you for a great experience.

Fit and finish of this cover is excellent! I have had a trifold cover for year but could not stand having access to the front of the bed. If you are looking for a retractable cover look no further.

I have used Retrax covers for years and thought I would try something different. The features offered on the JackRabbit of pull closed from the back, one foot stop latching and the spring loaded opening were all very nice features. Easy to install. It took me and son about one hour. I highly recommend having a helper to install and also use online videos for guidance. Two things which caused me to give a 4 rating instead of a 5. Leaks more water and dust than the Retrax. Not bad but, does leak.

1. The assemblers drove their screws to hard into the plastic case, cracking the case. 2. Missing shims. (they sent some in the mail) So quality assurance just let it slide. Once installed it kept popping open. When I sent a message to support at Leer, they responded like I was idiot highlighting sections of the manual discussing the shims. Ok so I missed that 2 or 3 lines in the manual, you do not have to talk to me like I am completely dumb. Now here is the thing, I kept adding shims, it kept popping open. The last shim I added stopped it from popping open but now the last 8 or so inches drawing it closed are now binding with the cover, you have to apply force to close it and force to open it but hey it does not pop open while driving! :) It looks great on the truck, it just does not function like it should. Being on the edge of working / not working based on one shim and they (Leer) talk to me like I am an idiot. Bottom line, they wont care about one bad review. After using a competitors roll cover for 7 years I am disappointed I ordered this one.

Installs fairly easy, better with 2 people. A bit flimsy though. Starts flapping up and down like a soft cover starting around 40 mph, super flappy at 80 mph. Pretty large gap between cover and canister case along the middle due to cover sagging in the middle allowing water, leaves, branches, debris to slide into the canister. Would not buy again.
