This mini chainsaw is very compact and easy to handle. For home use, I actually think it's more convenient than a big chainsaw because it's lighter and easier to control. We use it for trimming small tree branches and cutting things that regular home scissors can't handle. It's small, but it has enough power for everyday home work. the battery doesn't stay charged long at all, whether sitting on shelf or while in use. my last "cheap" one same size was a "work horse". This one is is like "my little pony"
