Many products can copy restaurant quality, IF you finish them. For instance, fries are great, but really need to be fried at home to be fast food standard or more. WELL, these egg rolls do the impossible: from the freezer to the oven, they are just like your local Asian bistro but do so with no messy frying. They're great right out of the box.
IT'S BEEN MANY YEARS SINCE I'VE HAD EGG ROLLS THIS GOOD, INCLUDING RESTAURANT FARE. THESE ARE YUMMY...AND ADDICTIVE!! I HAD COVID IN '20 AND IT REALLY MESSED WITH MY TASTE BUDS. MOST FOODS TASTE LIKE KA-KA. SO DISAPPOINTING . THESE BABIES ARE A TASTE TREAT EVERY TIME. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.
Chinese restaurants have been impacted by shrinkflation and the eggrolls of yesteryear are gone as they are now tiny little wanna-be eggrolls but Pagoda's frozen are the exception. Toss in air fryer for 15 minutes and pair with LaChoy sweet and sour and it's like going back in time to quality and quantity. Highly recommend!!
I have worked at nine Asian restaurants and I'm pretty picky about buying these foods from the grocery store. These egg rolls are the closest I've ever had to the ones I've seen made again and again. I like to cook them in the air fryer. They are full-sized and crispy and the filling tastes just like it should. Pick up a little hot mustard, sweet and sour, or duck sauce to go with it and you'll feel as if you've ordered takeout!!(:
I'm not big on writing reviews but these are great! Great flavor and texture. I cooked them in the air fryer and served them with duck sauce. My husband said they tasted better than the local chinese restaurant we go to. Plus they are a lot cheaper. Will definitely buy again
I tried these for lunch in the oven the other day and I can say I was highly impressed by these. They have a very great crispy crust and they taste similar to the eggrolls at the restaurant me and my kiddos love them. The portion size was perfect for the kiddos to be full!
I loved these egg rolls, they are the best egg rolls I have had at home. We tried a couple other brands after we tried this brand and we went back to the pagoda pork egg rolls. I cooked them in the oven and they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Really good pork egg rolls. As close to restaurant quality I have tried. My regular Walmart quit carrying this brand. I tried the other brand they now carry twice. They always taste old. Found a different Walmart carries the Pagoda brand pork egg rolls. I switched store so I could get this brand.
Bought a couple of times. Microwaved 2 today and the end tasted okay but the filling was awful. Not one to throw food out but the bite if filling ended up in my napkin. Tossed the 2 on my plate and what remained in the freezer . Going back to Great Value Prk egg rolls and will take the next step of toasting them after nuking for 2 minutes.
The first time I purchased these egg rolls they were excellent … but then, on the second box things spiraled downwards. On one end (and only one end) some funky looking stuff oozed out …. It was awful. I just cut the “bad” part off and ate the remaining part. I wish I could say that I recommend these egg rolls but, unfortunately, I cannot. It's really a shame because the egg rolls (the first box) were amazing and I thought I had found a product that could become a staple for me because my appetite has declined significantly. But, I can't take a chance on a second box because they are just too expensive. Sorry folks ☹️
