Sprain support
I like the brace because it is lightweight. I bought it for my Frenchie who has had on occasion hurt herself when she jumps off couch the wrong way causing her to limp in pain.

Pros and Cons of the Leg Braces
I think they are somewhat beneficial. They seam to slide off most often when secured firmly. Too tight can cut off circulation just like in humans. My dog doesn't like to wear them as she struggles to walk naturally. It looks like babies first steps! I do think it gives her some support with her joints. If not too tight I leave them on in the house but if they are tightly secured on the outside, I will remove them when done with our walk.
