Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Complete Stretch Mark Care Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my second pregnancy and while my first left me with FULLY covered abdominal stretch marks, this one somehow surpassed the first pregnancy and created an enormous number of new purple marks. I applied several types of oils during the first including bio oil everyone raves about and though I wasn't very consistent, NONE of them did a thing to minimize the appearance during pregnancy or after. I am now 1 month postpartum and I can tell you with full confidence that this set should be a baby registry must have for every pregnant woman! The set comes with everything you need to minimize the appearance of stretch marks Sadly I discovered this set on my last week of pregnancy But unfortunately did not begin using it until I was two weeks postpartum(had a relatively long hospitalization post birth). I wanted something to combat both my purple (new) and white (old) tiger stripes and now within only two weeks of not even very consistent use (max I remember to use is once a day though they call for twice a day applications), they have significantly minimized. I feel that my whites have become far more invisible than before and that the purples ones are much lighter and not as visible as before. Aside from the very stretchy skin from my c section, it's hard to tell that I was just recently pregnant based on my abdominal appearance. The kit comes with everything you need and would prefer. It comes with both lotion and oil products and while they're best to be used together (I think though the box didn't do the best job of describing the use of the individual items together. My only wish would be if they had more clear instructions on when to use which and a step system for doing so.). As far as I can tell you use whichever product you like, which for me were more of the oil based products although I did use the lotion as well). First of all the smell is intoxicatingly amazing! Very mild and incredibly pleasant smell of cocoa that is very gentle even for my extra sensitive skin. Over my two c section scars even there was no burning or irritation. The application of each product - lotion, oil , or butter has been amazing. After no sleep and the horrid newborn phase, it feels like a touch of paradise when it is finally time to apply them. The butter is absolutely amazing and very creamy all without being greasy. The oil is very pleasantly rich but not sticky- I don't want to even wash them off My hands after I apply them. the lotion And the cream are both very light and airy and not sticky greasy or thick. The ingredients are also quite health conscious friendly with no Parabens or sulfates and dangerous chemicals a newborn should be avoiding. The results? Well if I had this much of a difference in two weeks, I can't wait to see what the end results would be. If you're more disciplined and consistent I'm sure you'll see results faster and will find the products even more effective. Truly a must have for anyone who has stretch marks theyd like to wave goodbye to!

I purchased this for my sister due to her second pregnancy. She absolutely loves this and would highly recommend this to anyone with stretch marks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Something I didn't know when I started having kids was that stretch marks would be harsh and incredibly itchy after. My stomach of course had the worst. My belly had angry red marks with my first child, so bad my doctor brought in nurses to see because it was unusual to them. They would only give me anti itch cream and now that I've found this kit I wish I had it back then. First off my stretch marks still bother me. They tend to be itchy, especially after baby when I'm losing weight. I wake up and I've practically scratched myself miserable. So first thing I did with this kit was use the intense tummy butter. It's very thick and almost solid, so I used my nail to push some of it up so I could use it. Once in my hand it was easy to rub on. It's not really greasy, but almost. My skin soaked it right up. Next I used the lotion bottle. That one is lighter weight and soaks in pretty quick as well. The oil only needs one pump or it gets to be too much and I end up having to use it all over. The intense cream is like it's in-between the tummy butter and the lotion. Mid weight. Together they have made my skin incredibly soft and my stretch marks look lighter already. The itch has gone completely. I also used a small pump of the lotion weight one on my husband and it cleared up his dry skin immediately. So I will need to get extra for him to use as well since he likes it better than regular lotion. Over all this has been my favorite lotion and works amazing. Plus it's natural ingredients so I'm not worried about what chemicals I'm putting in my skin.

I've been familiar with the Palmer's brand for a long time. But it wasn't until this spring, when I found out I was pregnant, that I began using their products. This lotion is my favorite. I love that it can be used as a full body moisturizer, but that it has specific ingredients strong enough to help manage/reduce stretch marks in the tummy area. This kit contains everything you need to keep your skin healthy before, during and after pregnancy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My stretch marks have been super itchy. As soon I got my Palmers complete Stretch mark care set, I used the lotion and butter. It relieved the itching immediately. My skin is now super soft. The lotion is easy to apply and drys quick so I don't have to wait to pull my shirt back down. I use the lotion once a day and the butter 3 times a day. The oil i use at night before bed. I usually only need a squirt and that's enough for my belly and sides of my belly. The massage cream I also use at night before bed when I don't want to use the oil. I love the smell of this product. It is one of my favorite smells. It has a wonderful cocoa scent. My marks have lost their redness and are slowly becoming less visible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Palmer's stretch mark kit is great for anybody looking to reduce the size/color of stretch marks. I used this after having my second child and have found it to have reduced the length and depth of the stretch mark as well as the redness of them. The body butter is great. It smells like cocoa butter would and is thicker in consistency. The butter applies well and a little goes a decent way. The butter lasts a while on your skin and moisturizes tremendously. The only issue I have with the butter is that on occasion, the chunks will not rub in and break up right away, so you are left with little chunks of body butter on your skin. The oil is greasy but has helped my uneven skin tone. The oil absorbs in your skin after and about 8 minutesn and leaves you feeling moisturized. I used this and the body butter most throughout my pregnancy. I truly feel this helped prevent my stretch Marks from getting worse. The lotion is used to prevent and help reduce stretch marks. The lotion is thinner in consistency and goes a long way. The massage cream is of thicker consistency and takes a little longer to absorb into your skin. I used this to massage into my stretch marks to stimulate the repair of the stretch mark. All in all, I absolutely recommend this product! Not all of the products smell like cocoa butter, in fact, only the body butter does, but 100% worth the money invested.

Not sure about these at all. The package was ripped at the bottom as if it had been opened. Pics attached. The massage lotion and massage cream are the same exact consistency, which is thin like any typical lotion. I put both on my hand next to each other for comparison. They both smell the same too. They DO NOT smell like cocoa butter at all! They smell like a purfumy lotion. I compared it to my jergens daily lotion and it's almost identical. The Tummy butter is the real deal and looks and smells as it should. The oil also smells like it should and is like one I've bought before. I'm not sure about it, I might just have to buy it directly from the store to compare.

I love the oil, but the other products don't laywr well. If I put the lotion over the oil before it absorbs it pills and rubs off instead of absorbing. This happens with both the lotion and cream. The tummy butter is fine but I dont like it as much as the oil.
