Should be part of the kit (and sometimes is)
This is a well-established item that does the job it was designed to do. For what it costs, I think it is rather necessary for a greenhouse build.

Easy to Install
The hothouse gets so hot in the summer %26 I would try to remember to open the vent but sometimes I would forget and the plants don't enjoy that type of heat. Okay - hoping this works for the plants' sake!

Good enough for general purposes.
It works well but doesn't close soon enough. It closes all the way at about 59 degrees an begins closing around 65..

Great product but not energy efficient
The auto vent works well and is easy to install. The greenhouse itself was easy to assemble and set up. It provides plenty of room for our tropical plants (keep around our pool during the summer). One issue to be aware of...it doesn't provide tight seals around the plastic panes nor do the doors seal well. We live in Southeast Virginia. While our winter temperatures normally don't go below the mid 20s, we do get occasional temperatures in the teens. Our old greenhouse had two 1500-watt room heaters that kept the temperature no lower than 50 degrees. This unit required a third to supplement heating on temperatures below 25 degrees. I plan on contacting the manufacturer to see if caulking around all the panes would help with efficiently heating the structure. The auto vent works well.

Lightweight and simple
It was easy to install on my 6'x6' Mythos but the mythos is a bit flimsy so the anchor bars on which it's attached bend when it opens. Otherwise, I like it as it gives me peace of mind when I'm away and the weather warms up.

Not sure yet
Sure didn't like the way this thing attaches to the greenhouse, and it has been so hot here that we are still not sure if it works properly. It is keeping it open but hopefully when it cools down, it will close.

Not worth the money. Disappointing.
Worked for about a week, then stopped. Emailed for replacement or parts to repair and no reply.
