Our Midwest summers get a little too hot for fragile plants. This shade kit is great to shade those more fragile plants and bounce the harsh heat out. The clips that hold the cloth up also can be used for hanging plants.

Obviously the challenge with this greenhouse is assembly. Good planning is the key, as other reviewers have noted. Suggestions: -First, inventory all parts. Mine had none missing, bit its essential to have supplier provide any missing parts before you begin assembly. I organized all parts and labeled them clearly, only bringing them to the assembly location as they were required. -Build a good base - sturdy and in true square. The idea of siting the greenhouse on the ground seems too risky to me. -Study each page of directions and have parts for that page only at hand. Each page of directions shows parts and tools required. -Some of the assembly is easily understood - some challenging. Luckily I had a helper who is mechanically adept. Because it was on sale, I bought my greenhouse in the summer, so we worked three mornings to avoid the heat of the day. we made sure our stopping point was where the frame was structurally sound. The design is clever and appears adequate. The result seems to be a very good value. I selected the Snap-n-Grow 8x8 because I am a big man and wanted the double doors. The single doors are quite narrow.

First, I received the Shade Kit faster than I expected. Second, It was easy to put up in my Greenhouse. Most of all it brought the temperature of my Greenhouse down by 20 degrees. This Shade Kit is the best buy that I have made for my Greenhouse. I would advise anyone that has a need for a Shade Kit to buy this one.

The shade kit does exactly what it is intended for and was well worth the purchase price. The hooks that attach the shade kit to the ceiling and walls work well for hanging plants.

The shade cloth works as designed! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars were the edges aren't finished. Not a big deal; but why wouldn't they do that to keep it from fraying over time?

fits great in our Palram snap & Grow greenhouses. we purchased one last year but it isn't large enough to cover the whole area we need - so, I purchased two more this year. they stood up the whole year, no rips or tears.

It is a little smaller then what I xpected. I have a 6 by 8 greenhouse , I was short on both sides so I had to improvise the ends with a string to get it to stretch to the sides. Other then that it seems to be fine. I haven't tested it with my plants yet.

Shade kit does work and does include hanging clips to install it. Temperature was reaching around 110 degrees before it, now it is it around 85-90 degrees.
