Our baby has been using Pampers Swaddlers since birth, but now we tried Baby Dry Extra Protection for the night and it's been a lifesaver! The diaper holds up well for 14 hours but we like to change it at 12, otherwise baby gets a little uncomfortable but we've never had any leaks! The only negative comment on my part would be that the front and back designs are very similar so I've tried to put the diaper on backwards several times. But of course, it's not an issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What happened to these diapers?!? I cannot find them anywhere....not even to order online! These were the ONLY ones that worked for my son! I am SO frustrated, we have tried all the other brands and now don't have anything that's works! Ugh
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy when my little girl started sleeping through the night at two months old, but she would leak out of her Swaddler diaper. As I new mom I did not even know there was such a thing as overnight diapers. I was very pleased to find these and have not had one leak since!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used baby dry diapers overnight till my son was about 18m and then we needed something stronger for overnight, so we switched to these, as always pampers didn't disappoint! Maybe wet in am 2x the last 6months!! Well worth the extra money to not be woken up by wet kid!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always buy Pampers Baby Dry but accidentally bought these. So glad, use these at night & when traveling. It's important to me to make sure my son is well hydrated when traveling which means he also pees a lot. Nice to know we have extra protection for him & our car seat :) Highly recommend but they are discontinued and replaced by the swaddlers version which do not compare...bring these back please!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using the Extra Protection for a long time at night for our youngest son. They work better for us than Huggies over nights by far!! Recently I went to three stores to try and find a box of them, but all I could find were Swaddlers over nights. I was immediately disappointed in the fact that there are less diapers per box for the same cost of the Extra Protection. I told my husband we will see how they work. Well he leaks out of them at least every other night. SO DISAPPOINTED
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Extra Protection diapers on all 3 of my kids, since my oldest (now 7) was in diapers. They were amazing diapers. I'm not sure why Pampers had to change something that was so successful. I urge you to bring them back. The new version looks just like a regular swaddler diaper inside and out. It is not absorbent enough for nighttime use. Please bring back the old version, it was so much better! This lifetime Pampers user doesn't want to make the switch to Huggies, but I might have to.
I have tried using thse in my son's current size (4) and one size larger. In both cases, about half of the time, he wakes up to an exploded diaper. By this, I mean the inside absorbant material explodes out through the top front seam and ends up all over him and his bed. It is an extreme mess. I wish they would just leak if they got too full rather than come apart. I have tortured my poor son with these sub-par diapers long enough...we will be switching brands for overnight. It is such a shame Pampers cannot design a better overnight diaper.
We have successfully used Overnights on both of my children. Recently, we have had some massive failures - In the morning, we find that the top front seam of the diaper has burst open and my child covered head to tow in the AGM material. Cleaning up the AGM material is a hassle and my nursery, bathroom, carpet, tub, changing table now have thousands of urine soaked AGM crystals all over the place. When the top seam of the diaper has come apart you have a mess, it isn't just wiping up your child - the AGM crystals tend to stick and you're doing a full bath at that point. I am not sure if this is a quality problem with the current box that I have. We have experienced this problem on about every 5th diaper so far. Horrible.
My son is normally in Size 3 diapers. We bought Size 4 for overnight since he had been leaking about 3-4 nights a week. I tried these for 2 nights and they were horrible. He leaked worse then before and the diaper broke both nights on the top so I had a gel mess in the morning. I unzipped his pajamas and had so much diaper suff inside he needed a bath in order for me to clean up everything. He moves around a lot at night and these diapers are not designed for him at all. I have been an extremely faithful Pampers user but was extremely disappointed. I'll still use their normal diapers but not the overnighters.
