[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always buy Pampers Baby Dry but accidentally bought these. So glad, use these at night & when traveling. It's important to me to make sure my son is well hydrated when traveling which means he also pees a lot. Nice to know we have extra protection for him & our car seat :) Highly recommend but they are discontinued and replaced by the swaddlers version which do not compare...bring these back please!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to use overnight diapers with both of my sons due to heavy overnight wetting. This is a much better option than going up a size in diaper because when you go up a size sometimes the fit is wrong. These overnight diapers provided exactly what my sons needed to sleep soundly and dry! I expect that I may have to use them with my daughter eventually, and they are always my top choice for overnight protection!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these diapers. My son is able to sleep 12+ hours and not have a leak, be wet from the diaper, or smell like urine in the morning. The only thing I am disappointed in is that they are no longer making these diapers. I strongly urge Pampers to bring these back.
Our baby has been using Pampers Swaddlers since birth, but now we tried Baby Dry Extra Protection for the night and it's been a lifesaver! The diaper holds up well for 14 hours but we like to change it at 12, otherwise baby gets a little uncomfortable but we've never had any leaks! The only negative comment on my part would be that the front and back designs are very similar so I've tried to put the diaper on backwards several times. But of course, it's not an issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Extra Protection diapers on all 3 of my kids, since my oldest (now 7) was in diapers. They were amazing diapers. I'm not sure why Pampers had to change something that was so successful. I urge you to bring them back. The new version looks just like a regular swaddler diaper inside and out. It is not absorbent enough for nighttime use. Please bring back the old version, it was so much better! This lifetime Pampers user doesn't want to make the switch to Huggies, but I might have to.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the baby dry extra protection for my son. Recently, I found that they got replaced with overnight swaddlers. The new ones are horrible and not the same quality. Why change something that got such good reviews?
We used to love the extra protection for night, since our daughter completely soaks through regular diapers at night. I was always very pleased with how they worked, but now all of a sudden with this most recent box the gel explodes out all over the place after she soaks through her diaper. I have never had this happen before, and after the first and even second time I decided to give it another try. But last night this happened at 2:30 in the morning. She had only been in it since 7:30 or 8. I had to change her diaper, clothes, and sheets at 2:30 in the morning. Not Fun!!! I don't know if I have a defective box or what, but I have a whole other package that is unopened and am not going to use them. I went out to buy the next size up today, but realized when I was at the store that they don't come in size 6. She is only 29 lbs. so she is barely even in a size 5, but I thought this might help with that problem. I ended up buying the Huggies Overnights instead to see if I have the same problem with them. I really love Pampers, and don't like Huggies much, but I can't keep doing this. We still use the Cruisers, Easy Ups, and wipes with no complaints.
We have successfully used Overnights on both of my children. Recently, we have had some massive failures - In the morning, we find that the top front seam of the diaper has burst open and my child covered head to tow in the AGM material. Cleaning up the AGM material is a hassle and my nursery, bathroom, carpet, tub, changing table now have thousands of urine soaked AGM crystals all over the place. When the top seam of the diaper has come apart you have a mess, it isn't just wiping up your child - the AGM crystals tend to stick and you're doing a full bath at that point. I am not sure if this is a quality problem with the current box that I have. We have experienced this problem on about every 5th diaper so far. Horrible.
I can't believe how poorly these diapers work! I am a huge fan of pampers cruisers as they seem to have the best absorbency and fit oF all the diapers I've tried for my 11 month old. When I found the overnight protection diapers I was excited, thinking I had found that extra absorbency needed to pull through those last couple of hours in the night. They Are actually worse than any of the other diapers. Not only do they leak but they crumble, as a diaper would if worn into the pool. I know the size is right so pampers can't pin the blame on that. I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. I will be trying Huggys version as parents seem to be satisfied with those.
I am very disappointed with these "OVERNIGHT" pampers. I have a 2 year old that wears underwear and pull-ups during the day but still needs help during the night so I chose these overnights. When I check on him during the night, he is sometimes soaking wet. These pampers are not thick at all. I was under the impression that this overnight would hold him until morning time being that I put this on him right before he goes to bed. Even though these did not work well for me I am still truly only a PAMPERS mother!!!
