Country Hearth bread is very tasty. The white bread is also highly recommend for anyone with kidney issues.
love how it stays fresh longer then other breads
I used to eat Country Hearth Split Top Bread all the time, but hadn't bought it for quite a while as I prefer the thicker Texas toast at the moment. I saw the Pan O Gold version of Country Hearth Split Top white bread %26 it tastes good, but it's sliced so thin! It seemed even thinner because I was eating my local regional grocery store's Texas Toast that's around an inch thick - the Split Top bread looked so thin next to it! I have noticed that several of the regular white bread brands have switched to very thin slices now. Pan O Gold Country Hearth Split Top White Bread tastes good, it was soft %26 it stayed fresh for a good amount of time. It toasted well, but since it's so thin, you do have to watch it. I bought a new toaster, so I was checking out how well it toasted a variety of bread types %26 thicknesses. I will probably buy it again , but if you want a nice thick piece of bread, you might not be happy with it. I've been a picky eater since I was a kid, so I survived many sleepover camps %26 slumber parties on bread %26 butter growing up, so I know my white breads 😉 - I definitely prefer a thicker slice, but this bread does still taste like the bread I loved back in the day.
This bread used to be good. Not anymore. Too thin and sometimes so soft it feels like it wasn't baked till done. Won't buy again.
