Panasonic - 4K Ultra HD Audio DVD/CD/3D Blu-Ray Player, DP-UB154P-K - Black

It's somewhat difficult to see because everything is black but it's underneath the TV if you look closely. This is my first time owning a blue ray and I love it! It has become the HUB of all my movies I downloaded over the years. I know that streaming has affected sales but for me, I've always wanted to have my own personal collection and library. I have over 1500 movies thus far and growing every day. I am very happy I purchased this Panasonic and would recommended it highly. :)

to clarify, I wasn't looking for a 4k player, just something which was better than the low end sony products which I've bought. I made the mistake of assuming that because my purchase was more expensive than the Sony players I'd purchased that I would be able to access youtube through this Panasonic player. It does have a J45 jack afterall, but it does not allow me to stream youTube stuff. Turth be told, I didn't look hard enough at the specs. There are some clunky things with the remote control and menu functionality. Sometimes the player doesn't respond to the remote commant to open the DVD tray so I have to walk over the player and use to button on the box. The other problem is that the command for going to the top menu is not backward compatible with older DVD based tv series. I cannot speak to the 4k quality.

This thing is a piece of junk! Every time I pause a movie for more than 5 minutes, this piece of junk turns off because it has an "off timer." There is no option to turn it off. Every time it DOES turn off when I pause, it'll forget that the movie was playing and lose my spot. Then I have to find the place again. Every time I pause to make food, pee or do anything the stupid thing does it. It refuses to eject my disk after pressing eject 800 times, unless or feels like it. When I turn my tv on, it turns itself on, then plays the movie with no permission. So if I want to use my tv for ANYTHING else and this poj will turn on, load the disk, and even switch my tv to hdmi WITHOUT PERMISSION! I just smashed it to pieces. After about 5 years I couldn't tolerate its bowlsheet anymore. JUNK!!!

Bought it like 3 months ago and now it won't play not happy with it
