Panasonic Electric Razor for Men, Electric Shaver, ARC5 with Premium Automatic Cleaning and Charging Station, Wet Dry Shaver Men, Cordless Razor, with Pop-Up Trimmer

So far, so good. Have had the ARC 5 for about two weeks and tried dry and wet shaving. Not as close compared to using a blade but pretty good. Perhaps it will get better with time. SATISFIED.

This is the closest shave I've ever gotten from an electric razor. Also the smoothest and quietest experience. This is hands down the closest shave I've ever gotten from an electric razor. I've owned three different Braun models over the years and this Panasonic outperforms them all. The closeness is noticeably better and it gets to the skin without requiring multiple passes. What really surprised me, though, was how smooth and comfortable it is. There's significantly less irritation in trimming compared to my previous razors especially on the neck and chin areas where I tend to be more sensitive. It glides easily and doesn't tug or pull on slightly longer stubble or even beard. It's also much quieter than my Brauns and the charging is quick as well. The motor sounds refined rather than loud or harsh which makes the whole process feel more premium and less like I'm running a small appliance on my face at 6 a.m. Overall, this is the best electric razor I've used. Like I said closer shave, smoother feel, and quieter operation. If you're on the fence or comparing brands like I was, this Panasonic is top notch

An incredibly close shave! Well worth the money! I have tried loads of razors including Braun and while it worked ok, nothing has come close to the Panasonic Arc 5! After using it for over a week, my skin has never felt smoother or clean shaven . It does an impressive job at cutting the whiskers. The cleaning station is also worth the added cost as it does a great job of cleaning and drying the razor making it feel like a new razor everyday. Unlike Braun's Panasonic uses a package of special detergent mixed with water instead of the cleaning cartridges. I like this because the cartridges are expensive and not recyclable. Overall, it may seem expensive but if you have a thick beard that constantly grows or sensitive skin, it is worth getting this and having the best shave experience possible everyday.

I had bought the lower end of this of razor and found that it worked better for me than my rotary. So, I decided to get a higher end model. It has worked out better than I had hoped. Much quicker shave (I shave both face and head [full head of hair]) and smoother finish. Ill be purchasing a second one shortly.

Researched a lot of electric shavers and the Panasonic Arc5 kept popping up. Haven't purchased an electric shaver in 10 yrs and all reviews were very positive at reasonable price point. Only have been using it a couple of weeks but I am pleased with its performance.

My ARC5 gives me a nice, smooth, very close shave. So much better than the other major brand I used to use that roughed up my face and was not nearly close enough. As always, Panasonic delivers the best. Love my new shaver.

Execellent overall. Neck and flat laying hairs stilll a problem. Very smooth and comfortable shave. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Braun series 5 with two blades before buying this one. I expected more from a 5-blade shaver but the difference is insignificant. Overall it performs like a good electric shaver; not superior or inferior.

It gives a smooth shave I'll give it that, but if you're someone with hair that grows in multiple different directions on your face - this machine will not be easy to maneuver. The 5 blades makes it feel like im running a brick across my face and i have to go over multiple times in multiple different directions to get a full even smoothness (resulting in horrendously irritated skin and razor acne) I don't blame the razor at all. It just isn't for my face or skin. Hopeful to try a different product.

This item broke on the back where the charger goes within 2 months of using. I have to do a warranty return now. This product also has never shaved well. I would not recommend one of these. Stick with cheap safety razors.
