Phone for hard of hearing W/ vol boost and tones
Nice phone with a light-up for ringing or messages. 89-year-old mother is very hard of hearing, and I purchased because of the Boost in volume. She had a similar phone without the volume boost; this one is much louder on speaker phone. She would bump the answer machine button on the bass sometimes and turn it off by accident. The new phone has a red light on when Answer is on, as well as telling you it is on.

No audio from one of the handsets.
One of the handsets earpiece did not work, only the speaker phone. Otherwise the amplified audio is very good on the handsets that work.

Hand set not connecting. One connected easily while the second one is not connecting.

Disappointed in product
My father is 93 and has hearing aids. I've gone through several types of phones all with no luck when I decided to research "phones for the hearing impaired". This was the top recommended unit so I said I'll give it a try. I have to say I'm disappointed. The hearing quality is certainly better than the regular old hand helds but not worth the price. No way in IMHO. As well, the battery lasts no where near what's stated in the literature and it had a couple fairly large scratches on it when I unpackaged. Long story short it's not worth the money. I would not repeat
