Panasonic KX-TGTA61B Extra Rugged Handset

AT&T, and probably other companies, is rapidly phasing out their copper wire landlines. If fiber optic cables are not available you'll soon need a wireless phone. So, I replaced my old Panasonic base with a new version of the same model with three satellite wireless phones. The base had to come off the wall (you can't ever use those copper wires again), and had to be close to both their wireless box which is near a window, and also next to my computer router for internet backup if the wireless tower isn't working. So, I needed one more satellite handset, and this one was ideal (you can't use it by itself). It's durable, so I can toss it around in my man cave without worrying about breaking it. The sound quality is excellent. You can't block calls with it, so when I get one of those I use one of my other handsets to quickly find and block the number, so that's a minor nuisance. I hope the phone configuration I have now will last a very long time. You won't be disappointed with this phone.

I really like this headset. Blue tooth feature works via your mobile phone with all functions such as alert, text or email coming in. Stand alone upright charger included. The durability is as stated with rubberized corners will take drops. I have spilled half glass of clear water on the face of this phone, and let it dry in front of fan before powering up for 15 or so hours, and when I hit talk it functioned perfectly...so it will take mishaps of such. Very sturdy. would recommend to anyone who wants durability over size and weight in a phone.

Added it to our 5 unit system. Paired very easily. Upright charging base takes very little space on end table. Cord for charger is actually long enough to reach outlet unlike so many electrical items.

Very good product easy to use. Built like a tank

It was easy to set up . It looks great and I love the additional handset.

Love this Awesome Phone but, the COST way too Much. Flashlight is great, CallBlock Feature 3 Alarm Clocks Ring tones to Wake You Up.,and Very Comfortable holding phone too..WORKS Good while doing Garden Work.. SET UP is Time Consuming but, OK IF Follow Instructions.,I Did Purchased an Additional Rugged Expansion Phone..

Its a great phone. It is exatly what I needed and it works great

This handset is working well with my old system. It came pre-registered which was great because it won't fit in the cradel of my old system. Broken one is now gone, and the first replacement that didn't work, from another vendor is also gone. Thank you Panasonic for this handset.

It arrived very quickly , which I appreciate. Unfortunately I was unable to use this with my Panasonic Cordless phone system because of misinformation and needed features that I was led to believe it had but didn't.
