Panasonic Lightweight Headphones with XBS, 16Hz-22kHz Frequency, 16 Ohm Impedance, Wired Connectivity - RP-HT21

I love my headphones and owned them for about 2 years. My headphones are worn because of storing it incorrectly. The foam finally gave way because of how I take them off. Very comfortable, allows you to stay cool, can wear all day with no pain. I have $70 headphones that press on your ears and cause pain after 2 hours. Also, I have $100 headphones that make you hot. You can't go wrong for 5 dollars. If you're a audiophile, don't buy these, spend $500 on other headphones.

The sound quality of these small headphones is amazing. They're not kidding when they say they have a bass-boost. I have no trouble keeping them on my head and they're very comfortable. The matchbook-sized radio I also bought can fit inside a coat or sweatshirt pocket along with these 'phones. The sound they produce is large-enough to substitute for my full-sized ones when listening to music. I'll probably buy some more of these, as they make great low-cost, but high-value gifts.

Awesome little headphones. They have great sound and get loud enough for me to hear over my lawn mower. I'm going to buy some more. Very comfy on the ears and they stay on.

Old School Cool!

I liked these headphones, great price for the sound quality they deliver. I think they could have done a little better with the highs, as they have a lot of bass sound in the speakers. But over all, a very nice headphone, and for the price, you can't beat it. I bought 3 of them to replace other old and broken headphones around the house.

The headphones are not top of the line with all the trimmings. However, for $6.00, the sound is awesome, reasonable base, volume and very clear. Great computer headphone for work or walking on a treadmill. Running, I imagine they would fall off rather easy. Great pair of headphones. I bought 2 pair.

I have owned several head/ear phones. This Panasonic has very good sound quality, better than my Sony which cost more. Seems to be made stronger and has heavier gauge wire. Very good highs and lows. Order more than 1. You can always use a back-up set.

Bought 2 pairs of these Panasonics to use with mp3 player, computer,etc. For around $5 each, you definitely can't go wrong. They sound amazingly good! The wide frequency range (16Hz- 22kHz) helps bring in mids and highs, and the extra-bass produces some nice bottoms.

Headphones seem to be in tact, but the box was open. Not very reliable delivery. Will be hesitant to order again if this is what it will be like.

I ordered the Panasonic RP-HT21 headphones to replace the one I currently own due to the headpiece (plastic part above the speakers) breaking. My set is old, probably around 1990 or so. They are the black & gray kind with the large "XBS" printed on each side of the speakers. When the replacements arrived, I tried them right away. Sound quality is not what I expected ~ nor would I consider them to have Extra Bass System (XBS). I used electrical tape to piece together my old set and will continue to use them instead. The newer model went straight into the wastebasket. Shows you how quality has become a second consideration as newer products are manufactured. If you want good sound and decent bass, I would not recommend this product (unless, of course, you are lucky enough to find a used old pair as described above).
