Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Shampoo - 12 oz

Cleared buildup in my hair! I have very fine hair, that's lightly wavy. Even though I wash my hair everyday, I noticed the top of my head gets greasy within like 6 hours... And feels sticky? This shampoo is not marketed as a clarifying shampoo, but it so is! Obsessed.

Pantene is the best, since my hair is thinning a bit it gives me volume

I use/love Pantene Sheer volume. However I'm not writing about the shampoo. I want to make it know by mfgrs that in spite of the fact that I'm 72, I'm healthy, strong and active; I even help unload pallets and break down merchandise in a back room of a intl retail store! But age doesn't always win out against arthritis, and in spite of all my "old age" attributes, the one thing that causes me great discomfort is everyday trying to lift the lid of the Sheer Volume shampoo bottle!! It's painful and I usually have to find something to pry it up with. So for the sake of us old Boomers, maybe a new design is in order? Sure would make it easier on an old broad! Thanks!

I am so thankful for Abbey Yung for recommending this shampoo! I literally cannot stop touching my hair! It is so soft, and voluminous! It lathers sooo good on the first application. I usually have to go in a second time to get that good a lather! I have been using more expensive shampoos for years.. but no more! this is a thousand times better, and a lot less expensive!

I have been using a salon shampoo for my blonde, more on the fine side, hair for many years. Each salon bottle costs 20.00, and I have loved it so much, that I have been afraid to try something else, but I have been getting tired of spending tons of money on my shampoo. . I saw the Pantene Volume Shampoo on sale at my local pharmacy and thought I would give it a try. It lathered so well when washing, and smells terrific! Overall, my hair is more shiny than usual, and it has tons of volume that stays all day. I love this shampoo and will continue to use it! Good bye to my expensive salon shampoo!

I love it. This feels deep cleansing my thin oily hair. Also feels very high quality compared to cheaper brands, produces substantial lather and smells citrusy/floral. Leaves my hair very soft and fluffy, not rough. I was hesitant to try because people say pantene is bad, but this worked so well for me...the best. Thanks for keeping oily hair people in mind.

I used to use this shampoo once per week and always loved it. I recently ran out of my “stash” from like a year ago and bought a new bottle at the grocery store. The very first time I used the new bottle, I noticed that it didn't rinse as easily as it used to, and I ended up with itchy scalp and dry, frizzy hair. The matching conditioner doesn't have as much slip as usual, and I found it extremely difficult to comb through in the shower. I can't believe that after being together since the mid-90s, this is how Pantene and I break up and go our separate ways. They say the formula is the same as always, but it very obviously is not!

Only used maybe 5-6x over the course of a month or so. Started noticing lots more hair coming off in my brush. Hairs splitting off leading to uneven ends. Noticed thinning as well, more space on scalp despite having high density hair. Extremely dry spots on my scalp and lots is flaky buildup. Itchiness after washing. Scalp over producing oil to try to help the dryness which caused greasy hair. Switched back to my normal Redken all soft and felt better immediately. This stuff is terrible for you.

I bought this for volume as my daughter got married on a Sunday and there were no salons open. I had to do my own hair. Well, my hair looked great after I did pin curls but clearly it's an astringent, because my hair, which is thick but fine tangles easily.I'm still coming vicious tangles out nearly a month later. I gave the value and effectiveness high ratings as the price was great and it made my hair super thick. But no, l would not recommend it.

I have used the Sheer Volume formula for several years. It was perfect for my thin hair. However, I recently bought a bottle, & I must say I am disappointed! ☹ Something has changed in the formula, & my hair doesn't like it. I guess I will be looking for a new shampoo.
