Not the same flavor as it used to be
I am not a fan of this salt. I've purchased the Palermo Violet Sea Salt in the past, labeled Palermo vs Papa Palermo, expecting it to be the same but it is very different. The previous blend tasted like salt with a very faint general "fruit" flavor. Faint enough to use on veggies, salads and even on meat. This new blend labeled Papa Palermo tastes only like grape. Just grape. If it was marketed as a finishing salt, and tasted like grape (or even violet), I'd understand the fruit forward taste. Pros - The grinder and product quality is great. Grinder grinds evenly, the lid keeps moisture out and there's no caking or issues with the salt itself.

once sprinkled, the purple fades to the color of dog bath water. It tastes weird.

Broken...Waste of Money
I have no idea if the salt is any good or not because I can't use it. The top is broken so I would have to purchase a new grinder to use it. The salt was expensive enough. It would be nice to have this replaced.
