Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens, Fine Point, Black, 4 Pack

These have a larger barrel for the grip, which works well for me. The ink seems to be very smooth and consistent. I have not had them long so not sure how they will do in time, but so far I am quite happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my daily writers! They always lay down a clean, consistent line with no skipping, and are comfortable to hold over a long period of time. The ink dries fairly quickly once it's down, but the pen won't dry out instantly if you forget to retract it - a great balance!

I currently work as a cashier at a retail store so as you can imagine I am always in use of a pen but almost always lose my pens. However ever since I received my free Paper Mate Inkjoy gel pens I have not lost both of them at all! I love that the fine point makes my handwriting look "professional" and not like a fiver year old doodling around. I tend to take a lot of notes in spiral notebooks and it drives me crazy when the ink is too "heavy" - not the case with these. This is a quality pen that lasts for ages...one of my favorites!

These pens are the real deal! I am a lefty and am forever having problems smearing pens. I'm pleased to report this is no longer an issue. These pens dry right away, so now I can finally write in fun, festive colors. I also appreciate that there are no caps to be lost, since these pens retract. I now have a new favorite! I am not usually a huge fan of gel pens, but paper mate inkjoy gel pens have changed that for me. The black color writes smoothly and evenly, with NO smearing! I mean none at all, which is more than what i can say for some of the other pens I have used at work. The red color is bright and pretty, also no smudging or smearing. I buy them by the bulk because at my house i have 2 teenager in highschool that loose or give away there pens like crazy. And this are one of there favorite. It's gel and black ink and is preferred by there teacher and them and it's retractable so they don't loose the top or get ink on clothes. This gel pen dry very quick and no bleeding on the notebook but also don't put to much pressure.

I think these are nice gel pens. They have more of a writing pen style to them than the regular gel pens. They came with a rubber ball at the end to make sure they wouldn't spill ink, I thought that was a wise idea. They don't smear which is really nice especially when writing with them. I had the basic black and red to test out and review so I will need to go out and buy the full pack to see how nice they are for coloring.
