Paper Mate SharpWriter Mechanical Pencils, 0.7 mm HB #2 Lead, Fun Assorted Color Barrels, 12 Count

These pencils are exactly what I needed. The length of the lead is fully adjustable because you twist it to make it longer or shorter. Also, unlike other styles of mechanical pencils, the lead doesn't easily break as you are writing or drawing. They come in a variety pack of colors, which are simple, yet attractive. I will buy them again in the future!

I only buy these pencils for two main reasons: 1- I never end up breaking the lead! With other pencils, I am constantly having to twist the lead down more! The natural pressure most people use results in consistency for smooth writing. 2) It is the only mechanical pencil that has a great eraser! With others, I have to keep a good eraser nearby to prevent smudges that I hate. There is nothing I don't like about the pencils whether it be the plain colored pack of pencils or the colorful one. I am buying some to go in my grands Easter Basket for school.

I've used these pencils since before I was in high school, and I've been out of that for 26 years and counting. Comfortable to hold, easy to use, and no pesky broken leads. Erases well, and you can't help but have fun with the new different colors.

They are great and look really pretty in my pencil holder that's on my desk / I don't use pencils very often but these are just right when I do need a pencil

Paper Mate Sharpwriter mechanical pencils are excellent! It is very convenient to have the ability to write crisply without sharpening a pencil repeatedly. The lead is durable and does not break easily!

I like these pencils. It seems like the lead is stronger than they usually are in this pencil. I like the colors, and the ability to write in fine print.

These are good sturdy pencils, perfect for my teenage son. Seems like the first mechanical pencils I had as a kid though. Nothing great nothing bad. Would buy them again!

I use pencils to mark up walls etc for projects. A regular pencil tip, i find, is much more sturdy and you can apply more pressure for darker/bolder marks. These pencils are good for light marks. I would suggest not allowing too much of the lead stick out or it'll break easy. Overall it is nice

The erasers don't work correctly - just smudge. I used one pencil twice and it didn't have any more lead. I found the lead on the floor in another room so it must have dropped out of the pencil when I was carrying it somewhere.
