Paradise Herbs OptiMSM™, MSM, 1,000 mg, 180 Vegetarian Capsules

First, I love Paradise Herbs, they have some of the best quality products of any company. Second, this is the best MSM you can buy. I used to work in vitamin departments at several health food stores over many years, OptiMSM is known in the industry as "the good one". On top of that, Paradise Herbs doesn't add anything else, like fillers or excipients (these help powders flow through machinery, i.e. putting into capsules). It's important to get MSM without any contaminants, and this is the one.

This is a very effective product. When I started taking 1 caps MSM per day, I got a strong detox headache for three days. I then added Chlorella to bind and eliminate the toxins and my head was fine again. Afterwards my doctor even advised me to increase the amount to 2x2 caps per day.

I have thyroid problems, and my teenaged daughter had to undergo several surgeries, so we have both been dealing with hair loss and regrowth. Biotin helps, but this has brought back some of the shine and made our hair softer again. We are really loving it.

This is a wonderful product and I enjoyed using it, but personally I now purchase MSM in powder form and put them in veggie caps myself. I found a little machine online that helps me with that, and this is more cost effective for me. This way I can consume more product for less money, and I do that with several other products now too. I chose Paradise Herbs over some of the less expensive MSM products because it had nothing else in it (read labels). My husband has Fibromyalgia and after much research we decided to try MSM over the last 5 years nothing has helped but after 2 weeks of MSM and he also takes Glucosomine Chrondoitin he said he actually felt a difference we will continue with this product.

If the msm comes from China it's very poor quality, I used to buy drs best msm but the manufacturer after several days has not replied to my question about fillers. PARADISE msm has no fillers and is optiMSM should work on nails and hair,also joints,allergies etc. I have taken msm for years and if it's not optiMSM it does nothing. I am taking 2 in the morning and 2 at night with meals and my skin has gotten so soft, my dry feet and hands are now healed and soft and I feel a healed softened feeling throughout my body. I really feel it around my eye sockets which is interesting. My nails and hair is stronger as well. The price is right and I like the caps more than tabs.

I have taken MSM from other brands that are huge, chalky tablets. These capsules are easy to swallow. I also like the fact the only other ingredient in addition to the MSM is the vegetarian capsule - there are no other fillers like so many other supplements.

I've tried a few different MSM products and this is my favorite so far. I take it occasionally not daily , seems to work best for me just occasionally. I've noticed that I'm not as sensitive to sunlight and don't sunburn as easily when I use this. I like that this brand doesn't add magnesium stearate and other fillers. I wish they would use glass bottles though.

I am certain this is great - if you need it. I did not notice a huge difference in my joints. I've had several breaks - mountain biking and other extreme sports - and thought it may help. But like every thing else: if you need it, it's wonderful! If your system does not need it, you won't notice a difference.
