PARAMED Digital Thermometer - Underarm, Rectal & Oral Thermometer - Waterproof, Auto Shut off

I am so happy to order from Walmart! They are very fast with delivery. The only thing I would change is some of the items are not in bags or boxes. Our Wisconsin weather is so unpredictable that some items might be damaged. For example I ordered a picture frame that came all broken.

This thing reads temperature super fast. The fact that this one is super fast makes it so much easier when you have an antsy 3 year old daughter whose already not feeling well.

I was so glad when this showed up because we had our grandkids staying with us and one of them was sick. We were able to take their temp quickly and without fussing. This thermometer is a good one. Thermometers are a good thing to have but especially when you have Littles around.

If you are looking for an easy to use digital thermometer PapraMed has one that will fit your needs. Having to replace an old glass thermometer I needed one I could see the temp on and was easy to use. Turn it on put it under your tongue and wait until is beeps 4 times and you can read the temperature. Clean it off when done with medical alcohol and put back on to the protective sleeve. It is that easy. When you need to replace the battery you just pull of the top and replace the Lithium cell Cr1225 battery

Pros of this PARAMED Digital Thermometer -is it is easy to read. I love the auto shut off feature, preserving the battery. I also love the multiple ways to take the temperature, underarm, rectal, or orally. Cons of the PARAMED Digital Thermometer is the button is a little hard to push. I will use this everyday at work as we are still required to take temperatures for the pandemic.

I received my Paramed Digital Thermometer which does feature auto-shutoff and waterproof functionality. (The thermometer shuts off automatically after 10 minutes). It functions, but I did notice that I got a different reading 1 out of three times the temperature was taken orally. The process takes a full minute to complete, it can be used orally, as well as under the arm and rectally. The instructions are written well, and are easy to follow. You hear 4 short beeps when the cycle is completed, letting you know that the thermometer is ready to read. I do like the plastic cover that the thermometer easily slides in and out of, and I am happy to have this to add to my first-aid kit. However, I question why there seems to be a bit of variability on the temperature, as mentioned. Out of three attempts to measure temperature orally, two were the same but one was a full degree higher. I don't think I would recommend this thermometer, as I did find myself questioning whether it is completely accurate.

Very low quality...not worth the price. This is the same thermometer that other sell for $3 or so. Works fair at best. Very slow to read and only beeps intermittantly. Don't bother with this one.

My Thermometer did not work as Advertised. (1.) It does not "Beep" when the Temperature cycle is completed. (2.) It does not take the Temperature (by mouth) in 10 seconds per this web site. The Manufacturer's paperwork in the box stated 60 seconds. (3.) The temperature readings were erratic and not dependable. FYI - My new unit was over 4 years old when I received it, based upon the Date of Manufacture on the box's paperwork. It also has a small battery. I am returning it to my local Walmart.
