Paramount - My Fair Lady [ULTRA HD]

One of the best movies ever made, and stunning in 4K! Some feel this movie is "recycled" from the play of the same name. I never saw the Broadway play - I'm sure it was quite good, but when I watch this movie I cannot believe the play was as good! Audrey Hepburn did a magnificent job, as did Rex Harrison and Stanley Holloway (who both appeared in the play). I already had a BluRay version of this movie, and wasn't "shopping" for a 4K - but WalMart's price "done me in" LOL And this particular 4K is truly excellent. I'm sure you all know the story of "My Fair Lady" so I won't bore you repeating that. The only other thing I can add is this: I finally realized just how good this movie was a few years ago after watching it for the second time. This realization sort of "crept up" on me and sprang into my consciousness when I found myself singing "On the Street Where You Live" while daydreaming. It's really, really good - don't miss it!

My Fair Lady on 4K ultra high def is definitely worth purchasing if you are a collector, the picture and sound quality have never looked better, plus you can always count on Walmart or their vendors to get a exceptionally good deal 👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I purchased this copy because they were sold out of the regular DVD of My Fair Lady. The package was advertised as 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Digital Copy. I was hoping the DVD would have the movie on it, but it only contained special features. I figured if the movie was only 4K Ultra HD, then I could download the digital copy which I had never done before. I was going to give up, but my child after about an hour of dinking around with it, was able to download it to their iTunes account. I have an android cellphone so iTunes is not available to me. I love my many years old Sony DVD player, but it looks like 4K Ultra HD is the wave of the future, so I'm looking for a reasonably priced Sony 4K Ultra HD player that will play 4K, Blu-ray and my many standard DVDs. I'm not interested in Panasonic because a few years ago I bought a Panasonic and didn't discover until after the warranty expired that it would only play 25% of my DVD collection. I'm only giving 4 stars because getting the download copy was such a hassle.

The 4K disk stopped playing approxiimately 80% through the movie. The sound drops off during the singing and other parts of the movie -- problems not present on my prior blue ray version. This problem does not exist on my other 4K movie purchases.

Wonder if this was fake. So did greatest showman. Anyway looked sketchy plus didnt say it has bluray like the title. So returned unopened

Advertisement says HD plus digital plus blu-ray. This is not true. The Blu-ray Disc does NOT have the movie, only the special features.
