PARAMOUNT SCARES - Volume 2 (4K Ultra HD + Digital)

The Paramount scares collection 2 4K/Digital box set is awesome. It's a great display piece and a nice collection of 4K horror movies. You get Friday the 13th Part 2, Breakdown with Kurt Russell, World War Z with Brad Pitt and Orphan: First Kill which is a prequel to Orphan. Also there are Blu-Ray copies of the movies as well. Highly recommended and hopefully there will be a volume 3 soon.

Great value for this 4k box set, especially for the 13th part 2 being on 4K for the first time in the United States.

Having purchased the Paramount Scares Vol 1 last year which had a total of 5 movies, the offering for Vol 2 isn't much to write home about. You get the cool extras like a magazine and trinkets but the movie selection was not as impressive of a selection this go round. Three of the four movies have digital codes except for World War Z, which already had a great Shout Factory release but also lacked a digital code. Seeing as Paramount released singles of a few great horror films in their catalog recently like The Ring, A Quiet Place Day One and the rerelease of a standard edition of Red Eye (previously just a Paramount Presents title) I would think including any one of those would have helped sell more of these and really made the Scares name justified. I bought this at a discount and broke down to about $12~ a movie plus you get the three digital copies and some cool collectables so the price was very comparable with the movie selection. I hope if they make a Vol 3 next year, we get a better selection or just release the singles to save shelf space due to the size of these box sets.

It was the wrong item. It wasn't Paramount scares volume 2 it was a Xbox carrying case worth less money now I've gotta wait even longer to get my item.
