I was a little bit skeptical but this camera is really great! Easy to install the software, then just screw it in to any lightbulb socket, inside or out. The only consideration is that it must be in range of your modem. I use it at the front door and bought another for my carport and driveway. I'll probably get one more for back yard and pool. I love it ❤️

This camera is really good in terms of picture/video quality and it works very well in day and night conditions. It reacts to motion with an "alert" and brief video clip even if the movement is just in the area and not directly in the viewing field of the camera. It's worth the money for sure. During installation the camera dropped on a hard surface twice, and it still works perfectly as if nothing happened. Now, the issues that bothered us a lot is that it "ate" the Micro SD card, it just vanished inside the slot and is now loose and useless, and we couldn't get it out. Need to be careful installing the Micro/TF SD card. Another issue is that it took us like an hour to setup the camera and to make it ready for the app. The issue is that the camera takes several tries to read the QR code, and the alternative method didn't work in our case. Another issue is that the light switch needs to be "On" for the camera to work, so if you have other light bulbs on that switch these lights will be on too. In our case it works well, because the additional porch light lightens up the area and the camera has really good (not grainy, etc.) picture quality. The LED lights on the camera itself seem to provide minimal light though, so that's a bit of a drawback, but doesn't affect operations if another regular light bulb is lit up near by. Again, it's a very good camera and not sure if other cameras that look the same are actually the same, because the box is neutral without branding. Clear instructions for the camera operation are in the box, but no instruction about the installation regarding the Micro SD card. Overall and in comparison to other cameras, we would still recommend this camera as it works very well for our needs and we will buy additional units from this "brand" for sure.

Out of 8 cameras purchased 6 work most of the time, voice operations is static filled, delay on response sound on both ends. Lights burn out if kept on for hours overnight, lots of glitching, black screen and sounds of people speaking foreign languages over intercom. Does give 6 second alarm clips, memory card slots didn't work on two of the cameras when opened, cloud service is overpriced, I suggest memory cards instead. A great idea and invention if application worked better. Still gives some footage and serves as basically intended. You get what you pay for, cheap enough to replace or return if they have issues if you're so inclined. Used on our cabin and exterior of a rental property. Easy to screw in like a lightbulb, follow prompts to set up through app and start recording with cloud or memory card. Five minute installation.

so far so good but it took too long for it to start recording on the cloud it start recording only about a week ago. i paid for the subscription the same day I received it.

It's s great if you want to catch images of cars passing by, but doesnt work short range. Never picks up someone approaching my door or coming in the driveway. It goes off if a cloud passes by or the wind blows the flowers and trees. I will be doing further research on a better security bulb.

it worked for four months intermittently. if you dont pay for the app it is useless. sometimes it would work and other times it would be down for a week and a half amd then boot back up, until this last time where it apparently died forever. motion dectector worked very well (every spider web set it off) if you are looking for actual security this is not for you.

What mostly drew me to it really was its prize compared to others. But. The quality and performance didn't live up to expectations. I'm sorry. And Honestly. People working at Walmart in-charge of evaluating the quality of product Walmart sells had just committed a disservice to the public in choosing this particular product get included to the Walmart online list.

the thing they don't tell you is in order to view you motion detection videos you have to subscribe to their premium cloud service, worthless and I will not put a credit card on that sketchy site, don't waist your time, I took the 2 I bought back to Walmart for a refund, worthless if you cannot view the videos

It connected to wifi easy but it forces you to use the trial of their cloud service and when it is over it keeps turning the Sd card off and recording with cloud but they have a huge nasty water mark/ad over most of pic and can't see the video and if you set motion scanning on then it will spin around like it chasing a squirrel around a tree. Had to turn it off.

I dislike the item you have to buy cloud for it to work I purchased 100 cloud for 39 dollars it was gone in two weeks not the camera don't work it wants to buy more cloud I'm not going to keep doing that very disappointed
