It is plush , and we also use it as a makeshift blanket because it is so soft. Our three month old is sometimes inconsolable, and we've actually used this to swaddle just our baby's arms. She has gone from crying to sleeping soundly using this.

The crab design is so adorable and our little one loved the sea creature theme. The comfort of the towel is good all around but I wouldn't say top tier because it's not the softest towel. However, when it comes to kids towels it is very nice and the drying power is there. The Parents Choice Baby Hooded Towel adds that little bit extra to bath time transforming it from a chore to a delight.
