Green good, yellow mild, red high. You can use it for body temp, ambient temp and food temps, you can even use it to read water for babies! It takes 2 AAA batteries and they have lasted.

We have struggled with finding a good thermometer for our family to use, and I think this may finally be our answer! It was super easy to set up and it worked immediately after simply popping in the batteries. Needing only one thermometer for body, room, and object temperature readings is convenient. I like how the thermometer fits snugly in my hand, making the trigger easy to pull. The three color fever alarm helps in determining how sick my family is quickly.

Setup was easy had to pop in the battery which were included , has 3 buttons few features love that it lights up and detects quickly , my kids love it easy to use and not as big and bulky as others . Will be carrying this on the go. You can check food temperature, children temperature and the water temperature. Played around with it a little and the accuracy is great . And value also .

The screen features big font which makes it easy to read. The battery has lasted me longer than 4 months and I don't need to replace it still. Unfortunately the directions are not so straightforward and it definitely took several trials and errors to figure it out.

Not the best, but works. It said low battery as soon as I put in the new batteries they provided and that brings stress for new moms wanting to make sure the thermometer is accurate. I also don't like how the battery compartment is on the bottom and slides open so easily. If you have other kids that's a hazard for sure! I wouldn't buy this one personally.

Ok first time trying out parents choice thermometer gun it's definitely not easy to understand as I'm old school and using the thermometer stick under armpit method works best for me & family. Slight learning curve but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it once I read through the “manual” lol it does read body temperature pretty accurately i did one with the thermometer gun and other with armpit method and they both read within 1-2 degrees of each other. So I'd say that's good. It also can read surface temps and that function is nice to have to well read temperature of oven or if a pan it getting hot to make burgers. I like this feature a lot. The display isn't bad either easy to read and understand it lights up green much better reading in terms of situations like night time A++ don't skip out on this if looking to keep family in check in health department because outside temperatures keep changing and it's best to know if your family members are safe from getting sick buy this product

I absolutely love the fact that it came with batteries but I do have to say, the readings for 5 different people ended up nearly identical so I'm suspicious about the accuracy of the design. It's very quick to display results but I'm feeling odd about it
