I have used Parkay (tub) margarine for years, and in my opinion it is the best. And apparently, judging from the ratings, I am not the only fan of this product. The tub margarine is smooth, easily spreds, and heads and shoulders above its competitors in taste. For some reason, it is often unavailable in stores. I'm hoping that, whatever the problem may be, it is soon solved
I grew up on Parkay Margarine. I have problems locating the product in many Walmart stores today. For a long while, they did not supply it at all. Stopped selling the larger tubs, only the box of four sticks. I have called and asked until I am blue. My go-to Walmart Neighborhood Store does not supply it. Frustrating. However, a nearby Super Walmart does. But if I am ordering from the closest store, I have to order the sticks or another brand. I just wish if it is supplied at the bigger stores, then the Neighborhood stores should also offer it. Again, it would be nice if management of the stores in Alabama would have this much loved and needed product available at all stores in lower Alabama.
I love Parkay margerine, but in our town it can only be found at Walmart Super stores. Lately Walmart has been out of the Parkay and now only seem to carry it in the larger tubs. Feel like I am getting an inferior product when I have to purchase another brand.
best butter
This is the only butter I buy. It even tastes better than the "I can't believe it's not butter", butter. It's very smooth and creamy so it's really easy to spread on anything without tearing a hole in it. I also like the fact that when I make a grilled cheese sandwich, and I melt the butter, it doesn't have a watery substance. it has actual butter.
Well im shocked at the prices of brands like country crock in large sizes. So 41 oz is a good size for the cooking i do. Country Crock in the largest size is almost $8 . The problem with the Parkay is the taste and i think it might come from the fact they use skim milk in processing. Country Crocks flavor is superior, but at the time i didn't have the $ and wanted a large size margarine. So the Parkay is usable in cooking, but spread on just a piece of untoasted bread...NOT GOOD. If you toast the bread and use the Parkay its much better and if you put a smear of preserves or honey on it, its pretty good.
The container is busted open
I do not know what they have done to this butter! I would not put in pig slop.
I'm not happy with this I don't use Blue Bonnet and that's not what I want.
we did not recieve our parkay butter
